good for the kitchen

GREAT TV FOR THE MONEY.

The Picture is Sharp and Clear... just as Good as any Brand Name at any Price and any Screen Size that I have seen. The Audio is Excellent, and when I Hook-it-Up to My SurroundSound, it Rocks the House! I love it. :-) Rich

Nice for my bedroom, which I'm hardly there.

I do not know if it is because it is not directly connected to a cable company, but just to the cable input, that the dark images are kind of orange at times. I will continue to see why, other wise it will be going back .

Does not fill bedroom with a lot of light.

As Expected! HDTV AC/DC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since we have transitioned from analog to digital TV, I was looking for a TV that would be operable either in a vehicle or at home should we lose AC power due to a storm or other reason. Well, after reviewing all of the smaller TVs, I found that this Insignia brand was the only one that ran off of 12v DC and used the converter wall wort power cord to provide the proper voltage from normal house AC power. This is exactly what I needed. The 720p video and audio quality are more than acceptable for our kitchen / dinette area installation. Hopefully we will get many years of good use -- even without an emergency need.
