      When our old 13" CRT TV in the kitchen finally quit, we looked for a suitable flat screen replacement. We have no available counter space and limited under cabinet room so we were limited to how large we could go. This 19" Insignia seemed to fit the bill. We have a 32" Insignia in the bedroom and really like it so when this 19" went on sale we bought it. First, the remote wouldn't work at all. We had to turn the TV on manually. Second, once on, no matter what we did the picture was horrible, washed out, dull. And like other reviewers have said, the sound was tinny and irritating. The TV got returned to the store the same day it was purchased.

      Bought open box TV ... Certified ... Was obviously not tested. Out of box did not work ... Wouldn't power on -- big disappointment. Waste of my energy & time having to take a Best Buy certified open box item back because it wasn't tested. Last Best Buy purchase ever.

      The universal mount that was sold w/the tv doesn't fit, and the store new it. We asked customer service about it and was told "Oh yeah we know, but there isn't anything we can do for you." You will have to go purchase the correct screws from a hardware store.
