has the white cloud syndrome where the light is not even across the screen. had to return the first unit as it was so bad. screen also seems fuzzy when compared to my 10 year old Samsung. in my opinion i wish i had spent an extra 20 dollars for a better product.

For the Christmas sale price of $79.99 this is the best MONITOR and small room HDTV I could imagine. They do not advertise this for some reason [marketing doesn't like to undercut more expensive models] but with my laptop connected via HDMI this model displays full 1080 resolution, default. [I'm using AMD Radeon GPU]. I was surprised only one other reviewer caught this.
This is the best computer monitor you can possibly buy near this price, hand's down.
HDTV - it does the job excellently. EASY to setup well, which is something I cannot say about my larger Samsung unit. Very tolerant viewing angles - I was greatly surprised at how good this is. the matte coating is well-done - there is virtually no glare, no reflectivity which I find very annoying in other monitors
Adjustable pixel format - I find it looks better with the PC standard RGB 4x4 format in the dropdown menu
looks great with CAble, with Blu-Ray, with my laptop. Sound is better than most monitors this size, and I hooked up auxiliary speakers via the analog output - sounds fabulous that way.

This is the BEST little TV ever! The sound is great and the picture quality is crisp clear. It doesn't hardly weigh anything and you can carry it anywhere just like you would a purse!! I bought two of them. One for my computer room and one for a friend who needed a TV but couldn't really afford one. This TV was such a great deal I was able to buy two of them!! Thanks for the remarkable price and excellent quality. I only wish that you didn't have to screw the legs on but no biggie!! You won't regret buying this TV. It is actually a little smaller than my computer monitor but it works and looks great. It fits great on top of my small bookshelf in my computer room!

This TV has a very poor picture. No matter what kind of adjustments you make in the settings the color is dull, and the contrast is low. No matter what format you use the picture is either distorted or the outer edges are cut off. The sound is decent.

This was a geek squad certified refurbished tv. Thought I was getting a good deal, but, crazily enough, no power cord in the box! Does not look good when advertised as geek squad certified" very disappointed and store was not pleasant or helpful. The associate made me feel like I was lying until I called for manager. Very bad taste left with me. No call for that kind of attitude. I'm writing this review now, because still in the market for a small kitchen tv and used this info as a reference.

Low Price but Dead Pixels

This TV is very low priced and it works fine for viewing my security cameras.I purchased two. These are very lightweight and easy to wall mount.A plus for security cameras however you do get what you pay for. Both had one or two dead pixels in each TV.I considered sending them back but really need the TVs for the cameras so I kept them..I don't think I would buy them for a regular TV but at the sale price they are very inexpensive and probably worth the cost..Since this is my first day using them I can't comment of how well they last but I am thinking not to long compared to the weight difference in the one I replaced.

I have found the television to have poor picture and sound. I have purchased several small televisions like this in the past 3 or 4 years and this set is completely disappointing. This set can't hold a candle to the other 2.
If I could I would return the set, but it was my purchase and there was nothing that Best Buy did wrong and the television works, so I didn't feel I could do that.

Would not recommend this TV at all. Needed a 19". This was the only one available. Bought and could not get it to work with HDMI. Worked with Manufacturer Support and they told me to take it back. So I exchanged for a 2nd TV and it also does not work with HDMI. Not worth the trip back and forth so just using it without HDMI.

Huge hunk of garbage. So fragile couldn't even put a hanger on it. Tried hanging it on wall put first screw in plate on back to hang it and it broke. Waste of money.
