Customers praise the picture quality, size, and price of the 19" Class (18.5" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV, finding it easy to use and set up. However, some customers note that the stand is a bit flimsy and the volume could be improved. A few also mention challenges with the remote control and reception.

Perfect size for my mothers kitchen. I'm glad I decided to add it to her Christmas gifts after reading some of the reviews. Good sound, good picture, offers everything a flat screen should.

Great little television set for a 3, almost 4 year olds room. Good color, and clarity, for abase model. Will certainly keep him occupied, or help fall asleep.

I picked this TV up on sale for $79. It has a decent picture. I don't use this as a primary TV. Never had any problems with it.

I got this for my son for Christmas. It was a little smaller than he wanted, but the sale price of $69.99 was too good to pass up. I read the reviews and was a little nervous, so I set it up right away to make sure it would be a good gift. Set up took 5 minutes and was so easy a child could do it. I hooked up an antenna for testing purposes and it took about another 2-3 minutes to find me 19 channels. Picture quality is great. Remote worked flawlessly. I didn't attach the feet, as I am considering a wall mount and I had to repackage it til Christmas, but the tv stood up on its edge while I was testing it, so I'm sure the feet will be fine if I don't go with the wall mount. My only complaint is the sound. The quality of sound is fine, but I had to get it up to 94 to have it at the level I have my own tv. I took it up to 100, but the sound was a little fuzzy that high. My son has a small bedroom, so I'm sure size and sound won't be much of an issue. I'm certain he'll love this gift. For the price, I already love it.

This was likely a floor model. I've had it for @ least 4 months & it's still doing great. It's the perfect size for my kitchen. The picture is excellent. It was an adjustment to remember the remote is digital & I had to enter not only the channel # but also the "." & # after it. LOL

Not Bad for a Budget HDTV...

I'm using this TV as part of my personal gaming environment DIY project with old professional camera suitcase, a PS4 and an Xbox One, and I must admit that this little budget HDTV is not too bad. I wouldn't recommend this as a primary HDTV, but I WOULD recommend it as a secondary/tertiary monitor for projects and what-not...

Even without the low price this is a really great little TV. The picture and the sound are both exceptional. What I especially like about it is that it has a smaller footprint than the 15" TV it replaced. I am a cord cutter and use a ROKU box with this TV - but I also get MANY OTA channels as well (an added, unexpected bonus)

    Incredible little T.V!

The price of this 19" LED TV, first of all, is Unbelievable! Surprised to see how brilliant the picture quality is with a clear and superior sound! Perfect size on the kitchen counter while I cook or on my dresser as I get ready4 work in the morning. The Set-up is so simple-the T.V does it all! Just click your way thru the settings! Wow, I AM impressed & I am NOT easily impressed! I might add, I don't typically leave feedback unless I'm REALLY WoW'd or feel I got RIPPED OFF!!! So Thanks BB! Note: Grove City Location in OHIO has really great and helpful employees, by the way! Thanks Devon for your kind helpfulness!

    Great TV

This TV did not come with an HDMI cable, as to how to watch TV, there are 3 options, 1). HDMI port, 2). Cable wire port 3). A/V cable port. Although it has those options, the actual wires were __NOT__ included. Also the in set speakers located at the bottom and provide basic need, but if you like or love loud sound I recommend getting a speaker system or surround sound. The TV is very light weight, it comes with a left and right foot to stand the TV upright, it also has a placement in back to purchase a separate wall bracket to use wall mount. It comes with standard manual and a TV remote (Batteries were included, AAA size)

I needed a small (19") tv to replace an old 23 year 13" old analog tube type TV. I've got mine hooked up to a digital tv indoor amplified antenna and get 28 channels which is pretty good seeing the antenna is located in the basement. Nice picture, sound, and easy set-up well worth the $70 sale price!

This small TV is an excellent value. It was easy to set up and connected easily with my U-verse remote. The picture is great and I now have one in my office and one in a kitchen cabinet.

This TV is downright incredible for the price. As a TV it gets good reception, has a fine picture and reasonable speakers (along with both analog and digital optical outputs), and tunes broadcast channels very well even with an unamplified antenna. The menus feature a surprising amount of options, and the on-screen displays for channel info, signal strength, and program description are all useful, especially for first-time to cord cutters. The remote is small and light but has good construction and functions, and the IR receiver doesn't need careful aiming. The Insignia also serves brilliantly as a secondary (or tertiary) monitor for a desktop computer setup. I haven't tried gaming on it, and it's probably inappropriate as a primary display, but it's perfect for extending your desktop, or watching TV while you compute. NOTE: The "720p" display actually has a native 1360x760 panel, so if you're using this as a monitor you might want to force that resolution (in a configuration file if, say, you're using it with a Raspberry Pi, for which this is an awesome low cost, small-footprint solution). The native resolution adds a little desktop real estate and gives a much sharper image for text. Also of note, the 19" size is kind of perfect for cramped spaces, and it weighs next to nothing, so it's portable and compatible with even the flimsiest of TV mounts like the one I had laying around--I'm not using the included detachable feet. I had looked all over for something that would fit a crowded battle station, and was only finding 24" TVs that wouldn't fit, or low-res (or exceedingly expensive) <14" specialty displays. The 19" Insignia is one of the only displays I've found that fills that gap in the market, and it happens to do so for less than you'd pay for virtually any other option. All without any real compromises. If you can't tell I'm stoked on this product. The MSRP is low enough to justify consideration, and it's impossible to dismiss this TV at the sale prices I've seen lately.
