Customers praise the picture quality, size, and price of the 19" Class (18.5" Diag.) - LED - 720p - HDTV, finding it easy to use and set up. However, some customers note that the stand is a bit flimsy and the volume could be improved. A few also mention challenges with the remote control and reception.

This is a compact TV with an excellent picture. It is small enough for the kitchen counter. Pulls in the local channels well with the addition of a small countertop antenna.

So I am in a situation where I have to start over pretty from scratch. Don't have much to work with and when it came time to get a TV, price was everything. I had a 24 inch Insignia TV 3-5 years ago that was solid and based on that experience I decided to get another one since the need has arisen. For well under a $100 (even with taxes) this is an excellent TV. Great until I can get a bigger one and then this will become a bedroom TV. Sound good be better and a 22 inch rather than a 19 inch for around the $100 mark would have been nice, but all and all, there's no genuine complaints about this. Would absolutely recommend this for a small bedroom, kids room, kitchen or for someone just starting out.

I purchased this little TV for my office that has No windows or Doors & a Parking Garage surrounding me.
I hooked it to the Insignia antenna that I purchased for $12 & it picked up EVERY FREE channel! AMAZING!
The picture is BEAUTIFUL & the Sound is good!
Make sure that you put the legs on with the shorter end facing FRONT.
I see that the TV went up $10 since I bought it 3 days ago. Still a Steal!

It is really what I was looking for. A small TV with great sound and basic function, with HDMI and VCR outputs.

Good value, but dim

This was a replacement for a 13" CRT TV, which was too small and blurry for composite input from a Netflix box. The 19" size was a tad smaller than I was looking for in my kitchen, but the buttons on the side sold it to me. I expected a brighter display from LEDs. This is actually an LCD screen with an LED backlight. Like the old CRT TV, night time scenes are too dark to discern, and the menu's display options (there are a LOT of them) don't help much. Maybe it's happening in my DVR. About 45 minutes into watching, the screen gets dimmer.

I bought the TV primarily for the USB Photo Slideshow feature... It plays through the photos and ends. No shuffle. No repeat. Extremely frustrating. Returning them.

Very good little TV for my console setup. I don't play on my console very much so I don't need that large of a TV, works great!

I bought 2 of these for my kitchen and home office desktop. The assembly and setup were easy. Be careful not to screw the feet on to tight. I connected the TVs to my cable providers cable without a set top box. The TX pulled in lots of local channels, some of which I had to delete because there wasn't any picture.
The TV gives good video adjustments to refine the picture. I adjusted the picture by using the "vivid" settings in the "custom" section with somewhat less back light. The HD picture was very sharp with very good color! The sharpness was expected because I had an excellent cable connection and the pixel density is 2X that of a 40" HD TV.
The sound was initially "tinny" but there is some adjustment that can be made. I turned the Base to max and decrease the Treble to min and got an acceptable sound considering the size of the TVs speakers. You can also attach external speakers if you prefer.
Overall this is an excellent TV for the price!

We bought this for someone's bedroom and sadly it would not accept cable through Coaxial. We called Insignia and they knew of the issue. We had to return it.

We bought the insignia HDTV antenna. For $12.99 this antenna got great picture on the 19" insignia $69.99 TV. I have a large TV with a $60.00 aerial and some of the channels do not come in good. This antenna works great with picture perfect for all 9 channels in our area. No problems with hookup or setting up the TV when you first turn it on. The first time the TV is turned on you will get setup instructions. Be sure antenna is hooked up. It will scan the channels and you are all done. Just about 5-6 questions.Great picture!!!!! Remote is simple even for 85 year old lady.

Very impressive, better than I expected, I bought this TV mostly for use on the deck in summer. I had read some negative comments but decided they weren't serious enough to deter my purchase. Glad I did. The audio quality is very good, better than the 24" Vizio in the bedroom, and can go louder. It gets distant stations, off an antenna, better than the other two TV's in the house. And the picture can go bright enough to watch in full daylight. My only complaint is that it cannot run on 12v, as shown in the photos, and the display model in the store,.
