This Card wouldn’t work with my Mac Pro tower. I tried with another Mac tower and it still didn’t work. Seems this is only compatible with windows

Will not work with Oculus Rift. Best Buy does sell ones that will, like Oculus recommended brands. See website.

I have tried several pin positions on my computer motherboard and keep getting the same error code. Will not install.

This product does exactly what it was built for, no more no less. I was concerned making the purchase due to a lack of internal power connectors, but was relived to see that the card pulled enough power from the PCI-e slot to power the external hdds I connected to it. The one drawback is that without the internal power connection, the card cannot power a USB device on its own. But for my use case, this is not an issue.

No problem using the CD with driver for Windows 7. I now get the speed I need for backing up over a TB of data. I wish the instructions had said you don't need the power cable inside the PC. I did not have one available but tried it anyway and it works.

Works great with Win 10 Also comes with piggyback power connector for SATA power so nothing extra to buy

Good price for a USB 3.0. However, it does not come with any kind of power connector. Would be great to have a SATA to 4 pin quarter inch which is required by in the instructions that you see after you open the box. It is not mentioned on the box. What is more special is Best Buy does not keep these cables in stock.

Inexpensive way to upgrade an older system to the USB 3.0 standard. Went in with no problems and runs smoothly.

My card came without a driver disk. You cannot find drivers on the Insignia web site, nor will Insignia customer support respond to a request. After a week, I had to return the card out to Best Buy to get one with the drivers. The card is hit or miss as to whether it will recognize USB 3.x devices. 4 out of my 7 external hubs, including a Dell monitor with a built in USB 3.0 hubs, are not recognized as USB 3.x devices. Plugging a USB 3.x device is hit or miss as to whether a connection will be made or if it will recognize it as USB 3.x. That seems to happen more with thumb drives. Several new drives (including SanDisk, Lexar and PNY) took multiple insertions to make a connection. Note that all devices work on a computer with a built in 3.x port, and all devices worked fine in USB 2.0 ports on the same computer.

I purchased this item along with an X-Box connect. The connect is an awesome device when used with a PC! But it requires a good USB 3 interface. This one does not meet the required specifications for the demands of the Kinect. I had the power plug issue but I was able to swap the cable from my hard drive which had a small molex hanging from it, with another power cable. This is the second attempt I have made at purchasing a card to work with the Kinect, trying to add USB 3 to a desktop that didn't come with it. I can use the Kinect with a laptop that came with USB 3 but the software still says there may be issues with the USB port. So make sure this will work for your application before you buy it. It will probably be fine for most uses and as far as compatibility it could be that the Kinect might be the incompatible one.

I don't know if it works. No where on the web page does it say it needs a 4-pin 5-volt external power supply connector. My Dell XPS 8500 doesn't have any spare power connectors, I am using them all for hard drives. Only one reviewer commented on this.

Bought this card based on fair price and 5 star review. Installed but had problems with the driver software not the card itself. After sleep mode and then wake up the driver was listed as "Not installed" under the properties window. I found on internet that the driver manufacturer had been listed with same issue under different card manufacturers other than Insignia. Will return and purchase another card.

Company does not provide drivers for there product. You should not have to dig through the internet to get drivers for this failed half tailed product. Garbage.
