Since this product is the answer that was used back in the 90’s for not having anything but a tape deck, it’s a simple functioning item. The electric wiring leaves a lot to be desired, and can cause issues with your tape player by acting buggy.

My car stereo lacks an aux input so I had no way of freeing myself from the slavery of radio advertisements unless I bought a cassette tape (even possible anymore?) of put in an aging cd for music. This workd perfectly with my android phone and Pandora app. I bought a second to give to a friend who also had the same situation but was plugging her phone into a portable speaker. Now we both have full car stereo audio! PS the unit does seem flimsy but good after 3 weeks or so.

My previous car was a much older model and I was constantly wanting to listen to my music. This cassette helped me do just that, it lasted for literal years and I used it every single day!

Purchased the Insignia™ - 3' 3.5mm Cassette Adapter and it really works great. No noise in the background, can answer calls and everything was clear. Works great since we don't have one of the newer cars just yet.

if you don't have bluetooth in your car (mine is 03) then this works great. I'm now able to listen to my Apple music library- you'll ned the adapter for an iPhone but this unit solves the problem.

Works perfect. This Insignia™ NS-CA103 adapter lets you enjoy music stored on your compatible MP3 player, cell phone or other device with a 3.5mm headphone jack through a cassette player. Stereo separation helps ensure crystal-clear sound.

We have an older model car and this was the best and cheapest option to play our ipods in the car without having to buy and install an ipod jack. Having my doubts on its quality before I bought it, but got it home and used it in the car and the sound is awesome! Definitely worth the money if you have a similar situation.

Product worked great with my IPhone 6 Plus. We used it on a 40 hour round trip from Arkansas to Northern Ontario with no issues. The sound was most clear when we left the volume low on the IPhone and turned up the automobiles radio volume.

This product is great for cars that still have a cassette deck. It works fantastically and sounds great. Forget those FM receivers this is the way to go in terms of listening to music through your phone in an older car.

This thing does exactly what it supposed to do. You can't expect it to be high-quality, high fidelity sound but as far as getting decent, playable sound from an older unit this device does the trick.

I think the chord is a little too long. It would be a perfect length if someone in the rear seats was controlling music but just for the driver or front passenger, its a bit unnecessarily too long. Music quality through this device is great. It gets the job done.

This works very well to play music from iPhone through the speakers in my old cars, but the tape clicks very loud in the tape deck. It does this in all of our cars, so it does not seem to be because of the tape deck itself. Of course, if you play the music loud enough you don't hear the clicking so much.

I really liked this product because it was affordable. The only complaint I have about it is that you can not turn he volume up all the way when plugging your phone into it or else it gets distorted. So if you keep the volume on your phone one or two notches below maximum it works great.

I have an older vehicle 2006 that does not have Bluetooth or an auxiliary connection. But it does have a cassette player so I use this device to connect to my galaxy phone to play my music on the vehicle speakers. Works great!

For those who still have a cassette tape deck in their car this works well with new age technology. This cassette adapter works with automobile cassette tape decks, not for personal stereo sets with cassette tape decks. This item does feel overpriced with use with legacy technology.

Hooked it up to my iPhone in a 2007 Toyota and listened to music on an Arkansas to Canada road trip. Worked great and sounded best when the iPhone was at low to medium volumes and the auto stereo was used to raise the sound level.

Well, if you have an older car like mine where there is no aftermarket din installed; you’d most likely find yourself looking for products such as this one in order to play your music. This worked well considering the price. I still prefer Bluetooth however.

Sure there's some minimal back noise when not in use but for $15 you can't beat it as an alternative for those that lack an aux plug in like me. Sounds very good considering the price and it'd coming from my cassette deck!
