I replaced my old one for this one... This adapter is much better, great sound .. The old one (RCA) made so much noise .. This one ( INSIGNIA) is just fantastic... If it wasn't for the cable I would give it a 5 stars rating.

I used these a few times in the oast. They are easier to manipulate than cigarette lighter or USB adapters. Seems the sound quality is richer this way too.

A little pricey compared to what's available online, but I guess that's the cost of convenience. Nothing special here, but it's worth the price, and does what I need it to do: connect my phone to my car so I can listen to music.

For those of us who still have tape decks, I'm imagining that we're not removing them for sentimental sake or to keep the car as OEM as possible. I've used bluetooth to radio adapters and this just sounds better to me. Yes there are wires to deal with, but there's something fun about using the tape deck in 2022

I have bought other big brands for a tape AV hook up and sounds were too low coming out to the speakers. I like the insignia brand best because the sound is loud coming out. It would be great if the wiring was a little thicker.

I really like this product as I needed a new one and the old one broke. Really good quality of music but the only reason I am giving 4 stars is that it comes in and out sometimes.

Honestly, the product was great and Best Buy customer service was great as well, however I did receive a damaged product and I had to refund and reorder and I did originally order a used product listed as good condition so I’d have to say it’s a case of buyer beware. Either way, the product itself was exactly what I ordered and was described and shown accurately and the return or exchange process was a great experience overall so I still love Best Buy!

I've had my older car almost two years and was thrilled to find this at checkout. However my old car's cassette player apparently does not work. I gave this four stars as I have used one in the past with great success.

My family owns a 1995 Subaru (that we love) which has an old school radio with cassette player. No CD. No mp3. No bluetooth. However, I do have a 14 year-old-son whose very DNA causes him to need to listen to music any time he is in a car. When he found that his phone was incompatible with our '95 Subaru, something had to give. I knew where to go to find the solution...Best Buy, where I found the perfect item, the Insignia™ - 3' 3.5mm Cassette Adapter. It works perfectly and all is good with my son...and his music.

For $15, it's great for getting your phone's audio into an older car that may only have a cassette or cd player and no aux cord. The sound quality isn't amazing or anything, but it's not bad or noticeably horrific either.

Works well even after 2 months of continuos use. Occasionally needs to be ejected and cleaned gently for optimal sound but other than that no problems and I have had some bad ones in the past that just don't work.

Not all of us have an AUX cable to plug our phones or mp3 devices into our vehicle. Some of us don't even have a CD player in the dashboard. How do we get around this obstacle? We buy a cassette adapter and make it work! I'm no stranger to Insignia products, they work. Most of the time. This little badboy makes it so that my commute to work is thoroughly enjoyable. It's not overly loud, so you do have to crank the volume up a bit, but it certainly gets the job done and with no hassle. Why get a FM transmitter when you can grab this for under 20 bucks?

I bought this for my fiancé because her car does not have an aux output in her car. It works good for her iPod but there is still a tape hiss on occasion and it makes the cd quality music sound like a cassette tape.

I have a 2000 Lexus and had tried products that were supposed to work through the radio and other brands of the tape player type devises for the IPhone and none would work until this one. And it works like a charm!
