Normally I heed the reviews, but I went out on a limb and decided to purchase this tv/blu ray combo model the day after Christmas. Initially, all went well but the following day we experienced the same problem other buyers ran into with the blu ray player. It made a loud noise on disc insertion and then it would state that no disc was loaded. We contacted manufacturer and they advised us to return the product for a replacement. We're definitely returning it, but we won't be picking up another one! I should have listened to what others have said in the first place. Don't make my mistake. Stay away from this one.

I purchased this 1080p TV because I wanted a nice quality picture, turns out the TV shows 480i because I do not have a cable box connected to it. My other TV shows 1080p without the cable box! If I had known I had to have a cable box in order to get a 1080p picture before purchasing this 1080p 32in Insignia TV, I would not have gotten this one. The picture is not very good at all.

Easily got this set up right out of the box. Connected to Wifi immediately and apps were preinstalled. No need to buy any other boxes. All in one machine.

I bought the tv because my old tv died, and so that I could stream Netflix. It has been a learning process. For what I use it for, it suits the job.

We were super excited about having a TV w/BluRay and Internet connectivity all in one. Got home got connected and starting watching NetFlix w/o any issues. A couple of weeks later, we FINALLY got around to trying to watch a BluRay.....all it did was sound like we put the disk in the blender. It would not play and just kept making this awful noice. It is going back to Best Buy this week and we will purchase something else!

TV has a great picture! Easy to use remote once you get used to where everything is placed on it!

Do not buy this TV. It can't remember the WIFI settings. It can't even read a DVD. It works great when it will work, but you turn it off and it can't find the WIFI settings. So you have to reset the TV and start again and hope it works. This is ridiculous. Spend the extra money and get a BLU RAY player with WIFI built in.

I like the TV. It has a built in Blue Ray disk player. It fits the space we had for it.

We bought this to stream NetFlix on our wireless network. It works GREAT! We live in an older home with the metal grating sandwiched in-between the plaster and drywall, so our "g" signal is a little weak. However, the built in wireless adapter get the signal better than my laptop. Great Buy!!!!!

I am returning this TV. Set-up was easy until I tried to connect to the WIFI internet. I never got that to work right. The Blu-Ray player sounded like a helicopter landing. The TV takes an eternity to change stations. All of my reasons for choosing this TV were unsuccessful.

DVD player failed to read any disc. I looked online and it appears pretty common. Returned to store for a refund, the Best Buy staff was very friendly.

The spec's are great and the price is a good value but the performance is disappointing. The set up and picture were fine but the Blu-ray player was a junk. The player could not load and made a very bad grinding noise.

We are on unit #2 in 2 days. Both units have had the exact same problem. DVD/Blu-ray player will not work. Player makes horrible grinding noises and then ejects the DVD/Blu-ray. Everything else about this unit was great. However, we have learned our lesson about buying unknown brands.

exelent this produc for my home and i like to use in my mothers room bicouse she use the netfilix

I brought this television home and hooked it up. The picture was fine but the DVD player worked for about 30 seconds. Total time for this television in my home was a little over and hour and 1/2. This brand is JUNK and I'll never buy another product with this brand - EVER!

i love this tv, i only wish they would have had a larger screen version with the built in blu ray player.

I don't have Internet at home but icouldet get it working and the DVD played built-in diddent work so I returned it but it's a great price for the tv which I like but overall I diddent like it.
