This TV is an exchange from an open box purchase of the same brand in which we also purchased the geek squad service. The first TV's picture went black and it could not be repaired. The second TV is still working fine. We also purchased a wall mount for the second TV but have not installed it yet.

I needed to replace an old tv. After checking BestBuy's selection, I chose the Insignia. The picture quality was as good as some of the higher priced ones, and it was less expensive.

I must caution this review with the information that the Insignia has gotten light use. However, in my experience it has performed very well. I use this television to watch football downstairs when the living room is occupied with the kids friends. The interfaces are fairly simple to hook up HDMI cables or consoles. The stand that comes with the television is a bit flimsy and when you use it at first it will seem like its going to fall over. I would recommend this product on the condition you get your own television stand.

I am quite impressed with the picture quality on this Insignia TV. I purchased for use in the garage due to the low price, 1080p resolution and good appearance in the store. I've been very happy with how nice the picture looks for such a low priced TV. The sound is okay, but not great. It could be a little louder. However, I find mediocre sound seems to be the case with most TVs. The remote is adequate for a TV of this class. The set up is easy, and the tuner picks up lots of channels if you are using antenna, as I am in the garage.

I wanted something to watch Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video while still being able to use my Mac. I bought an HDMA dongle, plugged it in, TV was recognized instantly. Videos play in HD when available, for the price, I'm very happy.

This flat screen replaced an old tv on a bedroom. It suits the space just fine. Sound/ built in isn't that great, so add speakers to suit your needs. Overall worth the price paid.

I was looking for a TV that had buttons for some control or a way to use without remote the tv met that requirement. It didn;t have all bells and whistles but this was enough for me

Not a bad tv, but not great either. Definitely get what you pay for. Ours had the speakers making a bubbling or gurgling sound but we didn't get a chance to take it back within the 15 day return policy. So now it's out for repairs for 3 weeks. Also with the speakers being directed down under the tv, the sound just goes every where instead of where you are viewing it. I cut up aplastic tube to angle the sound forward which helped a lot. Hoping when it comes back that it will sound even better with fixed speakers. Currently would recommend due to the price. But may change that depending on how well it works when received after its fixed.

This is a good television for the price. It is a good product used as I do connected to a cable box, but will be even better if you can utilize the latest HDTV connections.

I bought this for my son and it had all the specs I was looking for and it was by far the best price of the more than 10 TVs I looked at online between multiple stores. Son has had no complaints at all so far (1 month).

This TV replaced a smaller one with the same size footprint on my wall. The picture is great but the sound has a little to be desired. Otherwise, I'm happy with it.

The TV sound just turns off on its own and when it does work it sounds the speakers are blown even though I've only had it for less than a month. I could've gotten a Samsung Smart TV for a little bit more with better quality. I will be returning this TV.

If the TV is turning itself off that it sounds like you will need to get it reviewed under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. You will need to take the TV and receipt into the Geek Squad desk at your local Best Buy store as they handle all of our warranty servicing. – Jon, Insignia Support BBY-ExBrand_Insignia
