This TV is perfect----size, color, clarity and price. Assembly was very minimal (stand only) and super easy. Love the features, especially the sleep mode options. Would recommend the Insignia television to friends and family.

I bought my daughter the same tv but with smart tech. Both tvs are excellent. He didn't need the smart tv features because his Xbox already has them. Saved a few bucks and very well worth the purchase.

If I set a theater view, some audio and video settings are locked out, preventing custom theater experience. Same kind of thing is present when starting with a preset audio type. Plus, the speaker configuration does not project the sound as other televisions fo, making the sound flatter than expected.

Posted .In order to adjust settings you will need to go to the “Custom” setting. This will pertain to both Audio and Video. The design of these units do include rear facing speakers to maximize the viewing area. They will work best with something behind to reflect the audio back forward. In the event that you feel this does not supply adequate volume for your room layout, you can add a Soundbar or other Home Theatre equipment to customize your audio experience. –Jon, Insignia Support

Still I think a great value for cost of options available. Happy I made the decision to purchase this model as it fits space I needed it in. I added a sound bar which solves the situation in this area.

The set up process was extremely easy. The picture is crisp, clear, even without HD cable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a basic 32 in. LED TV. Look elsewhere if you need one that has ROKU or SMART apps installed.

Crystal Clear Picture

I have a Sony and the Insignia has a MUCH better picture than the Sony! My son says its way better for gaming than his old tv was and he seems very happy with it. The price was super and the picture is great so I am definitely happy with it!
