Very pleased with tv. Was the right size for what I need.

super product, would buy it again. Hopefully this time I mounted my tv correctly.

Super easy to set up. Sounds great. Using Netflix and Hulu are a breeze. I like the Pandora application as well. It set this up as a bedroom tv and it works wonderfully for that.

For the price it could not be beat. Nice color, high definition, crisp images and good reception to boot. No need to buy famous brands. For what I need, next to my computer, watch some TV as I work on my computer. Cant ask for more .

Love this TV. High resolution, good sound for a flat screen.

I started to think it had a sound problem and low volume until I realized the volume on the cable input box had to be set higher in order for the tv sound to work properly. Once that was fixed I have zero complaints. We've been watching TV on it 2 weeks and it's awesome.

I purchased this television for gaming purposes only. The picture is great and serves the purpose for that manner however, the flaw is that the picture flickers like there is a loose wire. I have checked the connections and returned my original purchase for the same TV. The same problem occurs with the new TV as well. I am going to go to Insignia to see if this is a common occurrence or not. If this was an everyday TV I would have returned it and bought a different model.

Great picture quality returned do to downward rear speakers would have needed sound bar in medium size bedroom had to turn soloud to hear that you heard hiss. Sitting distance 12ft. Picture quality was above average for $ but audio is worst I've heard on a fully functional tv and I have 2 from the manufacturer it's just this model that's bad

Just plug and play, so easy to use and quality is great

There's a reason that this has such good ratings, this has been a great tv....plus it has a headphone jack!

Using as monitor for notebook, text is not great but usable and graphics are great

This was a gift to a new college student. Works great in her new apartment. Lots of options for just starting out.

the picture quality is amazing to me it looks better then the Samsung or LG the only complaint I have is the sound on the TV is horrible you have to keep it a level of 60 just to hear any program but a sound bar fixed that problem but other then the sound the picture alone makes it worth getting

I bought this assuming the picture would be okay, not great and that was pretty much as I expected. I figured I would have been able to tweak the settings to get an acceptable picture from it. But I use an OTA Antenna and when connected it created a background noise that was bothersome. I tried all audio settings but could not get it to go away. The only time it would disaper was those instances from when a program went to commercial. Only during those brief moment would that hissing sound go away. It is kind of like you turning your amp up all the way and all you can hear is the power. So it would rate it average for picture but below average for audio. You might not have this problem if you use HDMI inputs, but since I was only going to use Coax I didn't bother trying.

Purchased first one and returned and then purchased this one. Pros: None Cons: Major problems with volume. Does not come close to loud enough even if you purchase separate speakers plus added cost. TV changing instrument very poorly designed. When you 'try' to change channels it takes a long time compared to other tv's. Help from Best Buy nonexistent staff had little to no knowledge of tv's and attachments. Find a different tv. Did not mention fact taping could no longer work with VCR, had to purchase a DVR and service from major programming content provider for a lot more money. VCR equipment useless with this set.

Good TV for the price, I just wish it had more inputs on it

This TV has an excellent picture, and is simple to set up. Only problem with set-up for me was the higher-than-normal wall mount holes. But the real problem is the sound... I have to crank it up to 80 to get the same level of sound I had in my previous TV at 32. And even then, it's tinny. Hooking up to a sound bar or stereo is highly recommended. This was a replacement TV, so I had no choice of make/model. But if you expect good sound as well as picture, look elsewhere.

The sound quality of this TV is terrible. There is a low background roar or wind sound that is modulated in sync with the soundtrack you’re listening to, so you get a “kkhhh kkkhhhhh khh khhhhh” kind of sound in unison with any dialog or sound effects. The effect is like a noise gate circuit added to very noisy audio output. It is most noticeable (and annoying) when there is a single character speaking with no music or ambient noise, but it’s definitely happening all the time. We tested with different inputs (for example, a Blu Ray player connected via HDMI, and a DVD player connected via RCA cables) and they both had the same problem with the sound. The same sources (playing the same content) connected to our other TV sounded fine. I don’t know if this was a defective unit or if it’s just a badly designed model, but we returned it the store and got a different brand.

Such a good tv and for a great price. It you're looking for an affordable HDTV this will be the best selection for you. Speakers are amazing and picture quality is beautiful.
