Wanted to have a TV with CD and this was the perfect product reasonably priced. The mounting system purchased allows the TV to swivel so that it can be angled for viewing in more than one space. Exactly what I wanted.

This TV is very user friendly, it is nice having a built in DVD since it is in our motorhome and space is limited. It fit perfectly where eI wanted it and has a beautiful picture.

I was looking for a TV with a built in DVD player and as we all know, those puppies are hard to find. I wasn't familiar with the Insignia brand but read the reviews and took the plunge. The price was very nice (it was not on sale) and the picture is fantastic! It was very easy to set up and hook to my new TWC digital adapter. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead if 5 is that none of the codes for the remote in the TWC guide seem to work with the TV consistently! Sometimes it cuts the TV off, sometimes it doesn't. And when I use the remote that came with the TV, I have the same problem. Other than that, it is a great TV and I can't wait for the Super Bowl!!!

Has very clear picture, not heavy so set up is easy. Attaching the small plastic legs was a little difficult because they just don't click or snap in, you have to work with them. I really like having a DVD player built in. Got this for my elderly parents and even though it took a while they figured the remote control out. One thing that should be improved is the delay in getting a picture once you turn the TV on, the delay gives the impression that it's still off. With the elderly that is a problem because they touch the power button again thus turning the TV off. Otherwise a good TV.

I purchased this to play DVDs in my workout room. good price, nice and light easy to mount. The built in player means only one cord to deal with and one remote to loose.

I am not a tv person, need a tv for weather, news, and occasional viewing -- both tv and movies. This tv is a perfect size, and fits perfectly into a corner -- good for viewing, but not taking over the room. I am impressed with the clarity of the picture and find it easy to use. So glad I listened to the advice of the BestBuy salesrep, who helped me determine a best fit for me.

This tv is a great value for the price. It has a nice picture, it was easy to set up and the built in DVD player is handy. Its only flaw is that the volume is not very loud. At maximum volume it can be hard to hear with background noise like appliances running. I plan on getting a sound bar to fix that problem though.

You really don't need to read much into this review, it's real simple. The set has a great picture. HD stations and DVD's are super sharp. My wife loves the ease of starting a DVD without going to a separate component with a different remote etc, etc, etc. I bought one of these four years ago for the kitchen and this one is installed in my RV up front. The system I have in the RV is way too complex for her so with this unit installed it became real simple. Sound is what you would expect from an all in one unit. Not bad for typical viewing. If you need more bass, loader sound add a sound bar. Like I said simple to use to the point where it will make you smile!

i enjoy the television i brought with the compact dvd . it so easy to operate both tv and dvd player.it shows a good picture with great sound when the music plays through the dvd player. the price was not bad for the quality of tv and tape player. plus the tv is light weight to carry and set up.

Very pleased with our purchase. Almost no difference in clarity from our more expensive TV and the built in DVD player makes it even more aesthetically pleasing. Only drawback is the stand which is very short making it difficult to put the cable box below it.

Bought this for hubby as an early birthday present and he has loved it ever since. Easy to use and he loves the built in DVD player. Had a 19' prior to this one, but at our age, the screen was just too small so this is much better. I don't have to hear "what does that say" anymore LOL.

So far this TV has been great for an office TV. The picture is really clear (especially for 720), easy to set up, easy to use, sound is decent, and it's light as a feather. I've had really good luck with the Insignia brand over the years so I expect this one to last a long time.

Nice flat screen, plug-and-play. I bought this for my elderly, sight-impaired aunt to replace a TV she had -- rearscreen projection, a bit larger screen, which had OLD DVD/videotape machine that never coordinated easily for her to use. She likes the remote and the DVD player is pretty simple--though unfortunately you do have to switch to DVD mode onscreen via a menu button on the remote, and then switch it back to TV mode.

This is a good TV for the bedroom. Especially when you are short on space. The DVD player is really a lifesaver and space saver. My kids like to use it. Great picture and an easy TV to use.

I purchased this tv as a replacement for my bedroom and I am very happy with my purchase. I especially love the ease of playing a dvd. The picture quality is very colorful and clear. I was a bit concern that the pictue quality would not be very good because it is a non-popular brand and the price was low but I decided to give it a chance and glad it did. This is a very good buy,

The TV is crisp and clear and super light. It is a great deal. DVD playback is great and the controls are very intuitive. It is a great deal as I saw TV's much smaller than this going for this same price or more....

Loved the idea of a combo so we didn't have a DVD player on a shelf but the TV on the wall. Everything works great so far...the only issue is now the cable box! We may install a small shelf just under the tv. This is in a bedroom, and we don't want electronics on the dresser, but there's no other place to put them as it's a tiny bedroom. TV and DVD both have great pictures; we were of course concerned about buying them put together because 'if one breaks...then you have to buy the whole thing again', but I think you could install a stand-alone DVD player if you needed to. We do watch VHS from time to time, but will do that in the living room from now on...

The quality of the picture is okay if you have analog cable or still use an antennae. The HGTV stations are the best! So much clearer than analog. I wanted this as a gift for my mother. She loves the all-in-one feature (tv/dvd combo). I ended up buying two within 2 weeks of each other (one for her and one for the den area). I would recommend this product.

My Mom watches DVDs and old VHS tapes and does not have cable and she struggled with the inputs and different remotes from her old crt tv. When I finally convinced her to upgrade I wanted to keep it as simple as possible so most her VHS are now DVDs and she has a tv with DVD built in, which means she has a single remote and no external wires to be concerned about. The picture quality is good, and functionality is great.

I purchased this set for our bedroom, as we needed a larger tv in that room and wanted the DVD capabilities. The size is just right, the DVD is very handy and it's nice to not need to deal with the extra cables. The TV is not on an HD hook-up, so we don't get an HD picture, but it's not too bad overall. The price was certainly right and the TV picture quality is more than acceptable.
