Bought this insignia 32" 1080 tv to replace an older flat screen 32", which still worked but is an energy hog. It uses the old technology of lcd backlight. My new Insignia is energy star rated. The colors are bright and picture is sharpe. The price is well worth it as long as it lasts and doesn't have issues down the road. The sound quality seems to be good as well. I am happy with my Insignia so far!

bot it for a computer monitor and it is big enough to replace a dual monitor set up and eliminated separate stereo speakers. the remote makes it easy to mute sound and switch from monitor to tv. only problem is when first powered on i have to make a screen adjustment by going to menu, picture, advanced settings, aspect ratio, then change from normal to wide or wide to normal then exit. this will fix the screen ratio. no big deal so it still gets five stars.

Easy to install and power up. We bought a wall mount and did it that way. I added a Roku stick to finish off the installation and we’re good to go. Picture is good, not perfect, but good. Good sleek design perfect for wall mounting or sitting on table or entertainment center with included feet. Overall, am pleased with this purchase.

Nice size as a replacement of a 22" previous 1080 resolution bedroom tv. Got tired of squinting and competing with glow from the nightstand's lamp.
This tv is very easy on my eyes . The 1080 resolution was a must have. I put a fire stick onto this. Works great for when I'm streaming.
The basic controller that came with this tv works great for rabbit ears antenna viewing. Straight forward and less complicated.

Great TV for the price. Great colors. I like a more vibrant colored screen and this has plenty of settings to tune the screen how I like. Great TV for an extra room or a Childs room. A great value. For just over $100 if you can find it at that sale price its totally worth it to have a good 32 inch TV.

Our old bedroom Insignia TV died on us out of the blue (we had it for several years and it was a hand-me-down, so it lived a pretty good life!), thus we began our search for a replacement. We found this one that was the same size with obvious updates since our last one was made, and it was on sale for $99! So far it works great, and we love the new (to us) features! If you're looking for something simple for a cable box or streaming device, this will suit your needs. It only has 2 HDMI plugs, so if you need more than that, then this one might not be for you.

This TV was a good price. I like the picture and the size. There are some features I wish it did have, but it will do for now. I will definitely consider purchasing from Best Buy again for my next electronic purchases.

I had bought a TCL smart ROKU TV before buying this one. The TCL was great except the remote had pretty much nothing but arrows and no labeling to tell what they were for. Difficult to remember the function. This would not have to much of an issue if I used often enough. The problem I had was I was going to use it an a guest room and for anyone who has never used it, it would be difficult to figure out.
So, I bought the Insignia and although it isn't a smart TV, the remote is 100% easier to use and the picture is perfect. So I give it five stars.

This is my second purchase of this 32"TV...a basic unit, just right for a bedroom, IMO...Had a Samsung HD unit and the tuner failed after three years of service...replaced it with a Insignia 50" model with no problems. Reasonably priced and dependable units...

I purchased two of these to use as FHD monitors for my computer. I wanted the larger space; 32 inch, but instead of the normal 720p I wanted 1080p so that it would not be so pixelated as a computer monitor.
I am typing this review on seeing it on one of those monitors now. It works fine. I write novels for a living, and so the eye strain of staring at a monitor all day long is what I was trying to alleviate with my older monitors, but being older I need the size.
I could not be happier. I got a great deal, actually saved more than a hundred dollars. Shipping was quick. Both monitors arrived, I plugged them in and there have been no issues at all.
As a side note, I have an older Insignia TV in my office I watch during the day and I love it. That decided me also, as the brand is excellent quality.

Good No Frills TV

Its a good basic TV, nothing special. I bought 2 which I use as monitors for my desktop computer. At 1080P, they aren't the best thing to use as a monitor, but are OK. Initially, my computer screen image had the top, sides, and bottom cut off as the image was too big to fit the TV screen. To fix this, I had to go into the TV settings menu and turn off the over scan option.
I really wanted 4K resolution, but didn't want to pay the price and couldn't find 32 inch sets with 4K.
The sound is surprisingly good for a flat screen TV. At least it doesn't hurt my ears when I connect my laptop via HDMI to stream YouTube videos

What a deal! This was just over $100, and even though it's small, it's perfect for a smaller bedroom. The next size up jumps up by more than it's worth. Great picture quality, decent sound, very easy to mount. Would buy again.

Good quality TV for the money ($99). Nice, sharp picture, makes a good pc monitor too (1080p). Good sound and good remote. No smart apps but for the price you can add a Roku or just hook it up to a pc. Also cheap 5 yr warranty available.

Pops loves it. He wanted a new TV since the old 10-15 year old one he had finally went out. He said I want it the same size but I want 1080p. 1080p is rare in. 32", but I found it. Price was higher than alot of smart TVs the same size, but he didn't want smart he wanted 1080p. In the end after he had it for about a week BB put it on sale and I was able to get them to honor the price match/adjust for about $20. Made him even happier. Ultimately if clarity/quality of picture is Important to you this is the one.
