It will take some time to get used to the difference in sound quality. Otherwise, ok for the price; shipped quickly.

Posted .We’re glad you like the picture on the television. Regarding audio, the unit has two 5 watt speakers so in an average room that should generally provide adequate sound. To get the best audio experience, I would first recommend that you ensure the sending source device (cable box, etc) is set to send out its audio signal at full volume (that way the TV is getting raw signal and not having to amplify lower volume sound, reducing quality) and in stereo or PCM format. Not all devices will have settings to make those changes, but if yours does that may improve what comes into the television. You can also change the audio settings on the television to choose a preset audio mode or manually adjust bass and treble according to your preference. –Jason, Insignia Products
