Excellent value for the money

This was for a bedroom where the viewing distance was about 15 feet so I really did not need the extra resolution of a 1080P display. The picture looks great and the navigation through the menus to do setup was easy.

You won't get cinematic quality BUT it is a fairly cheap tv. If you intend to just lounge and watch some shows or do some light gaming the tv is fine. If you are a more avid gamer or a self-proclaimed movie critic you will most likely want to dish out a little more dough for a higher end tv.
