It’s not perfect. But it did charge my phone and my Xbox Series controller even functioned like it should. But if you are doing gaming videos or livestreams, you may not want to us your mic or webcam on. It does technically work, but the quality is isn’t as good. Just connect those accessories to a USB 3.0 port on the computer itself.

My computer only has two regular usb ports and 1 usb c. I have quite a few things connected to my laptop so I needed more usb ports and these have worked great.
