The screen is nice and bright even though it has an anti glare screen. I used it outside for some entertainment and it looked great. Even with bunny ears antenna or connected through HDMI, it does its job.

I wasn't sure how picture would be. Using in business setting and it works great. Solid for the price.

Bought this on Black Friday, and I am satisfied with it so far. Only issue is that the input button on our fios remote doesn't work with it, though that might be the fios instead of the TV.

I bought it for a friend and she loves it ! Great picture .Its lite so she was able to move it around.

Have had it for about a month with no problems. I need to upgrade my DirectTV stuff to get full benefits but am happy with what I have so far. Next purchase will be same model in the Smart TV form.

Purchased this TV for my kids room. They use this for gaming, watching TV and movies. When playing any of the items mentioned above, the TV preforms awesome. The refresh rate is great.

I wanted a TV to use at a second apartment I just got but wanted a good value for the money. Using just the on air TV signal was how this TV was going to be used. For a 40 inch TV you can't beat the look and sound of this unit. Got it up and running in no time and followed the TV set up to get started. Great picture and sound for the price.

This TV was a good price to reputation ratio, meaning it was the cheapest option in the size range I was looking for that wasn't a complete bomb in reviews. I bought it when it wasn't particularly on sale, but needed to use some points and had giftcards. Purchase made for my mother, who doesn't need anything fancy. Assembly easy. Meets needs. Haven't played with it enough to note any deficiencies. Using third party, indoor antenna, received all channels expected, with little signal issues during cloudy weather (mom is probably about 30-50 miles from any signal).

I love this tv cost me much less than many other tv's would have and has an amazing 1080p screen that gives me the best of my HD love

For the price of this 40" TV, it is worth it. The sound can be off at times but if you have a soundbar, it's perfectly fine. Makes a great TV for a bedroom and child's room set.
