However 10 days after purchase a green horizontal line appeared across the television. TV was a dud. Now we are afraid to purchase this brand again.

I love this TV don't get me wrong but being dependant on my xbox for Netflix, Hulu, etc. is not the best. 50 bucks more and I could have had a smart tv. No xbox connection needed which means no reliance on xbox live being up and running so I can watch TV. Still. It's a nice little tv and I do enjoy it.
