Great television for the price. Bought for my Dad for Christmas to upgrade his old school TV and he's thrilled. Easy to assemble and program with nice quality picture.

After 15 months, the screen went black, TV is dead

This is a great product for the money. Stand is sleek, remote works well and the picture is crisp. I would highly recommend this for a bedroom or office TV.

Great pice just bought the last one at 11 /27 2015 at 430 .ask the sales guy if they still had one and he said sold out and I ask to see if I can order one he did and none left but then he look more on the computer to see if there any in the store and he said yes there one left he look all around and went to the back and comes out with one . Went home hook it up and very happy with the tv . 10 stars .

I bought this TV to use for watching sports out on the deck, so I didnt want to spend alot of money. I brought it home and in 15 minutes it was up and I was watching the ball game. Very easy to set up and hook up to the cable. The picture and sound are fantastic. Great for outdoors because the picture is so bright and the screen surface is antireflective. My last one was an LG and no nearly as good.

This was a good value for the money. It works well, and is fairly light. If I'd change anything, I'd add a few more ports, though that's more a personal preference. The main feature I'd like is a way to manually add channels other than through the scan-rescan feature. It doesn't seem like there's a way to save "found" channels without rescanning. If there's a channel that alternates between good and weak, you have to try to scan when all of them are at their peak- not always possible. Nonetheless, it's still a good TV.

I purchased this TV for my Mother in-law who was using a 32' Colby LCD. This set has a very good picture right out of the box. It is not a premium TV, but for general viewing it does the job well. She doesn't play games on the TV so I can not comment on that aspect. For a primary or second TV for general cable or DVD/Blu Ray viewing this TV is a good pick at a reasonable price.

Great tv great price great size love ittt purchasing another this week

I had a Samsung 50 inch smart tv, that this fast talking salesman told me was the best, and it had tons of issues. It would have cost us 2k+ to pay off.... We sent it back and got this TV and a Chromecast..... So much happier. It's a little smaller, but the picture is just as good and the sound on this is actually a lot better. I was surprised how much better it was and at under 200$!!! You can't beat that at a pawn shop... Plus a warranty..... Sold!

Was looking for a 40" TV that wasn't expensive and this fits the bill. Easy set up. Good picture quality.

I'm all about getting the most from my dollar without buying junk. This is not junk. This makes my second Insignia TV and am very happy with both. The picture is great, sound is fine. If I had to pick the worst thing about this, it would be the sound. It's just ok. But I don't think any flat screen tv has awesome sound quality. I plan on getting a sound bar just like it did with my other Insignia. The sound bar by coincidence is also an Insignia.

This is the 5th Insigna set we have bough tfrom Best Buy. All are still working. This one almost set itself up. Very easy. Picture is very good and sound is excellent, better then the older models. Can't beat this $159 deal unless spending close to $700. Good size for our small living room.

Couldn't be happier with this TV, the High Definition is so sharp, picture perfect. Was pleased with existing sound but, added the equally excellent Insignia 2.0 Soundbar with Subwoofer for the full experience. With the 1080HD resolution I can see the full screen from every angle in the living room. 40" screen is large enough without overpowering the room! I've recommended this TV to several friends.

I had just received a 32" LG from Amazon that showed up with a cracked screen when I saw the low price on this unit. I immediately canceled the replacement order and bought this instead. I'm very satisfied. Setup took all of 10 minutes and using a $5 antenna I also bought on Amazon I'm picking up 24 channels. I'll have to keep checking to see if the price comes back down since it went up by $50.

Bought this TV during the pre-holiday craze for $150 (without waiting in line), and it has met my expectations! My wife and I bought this to replace our previous 37" Insignia LCD, which we had since 2007. The color was easily calibrated using some settings I found online and the sound is perfect for our bedroom. I would have given 5 stars if it had more than 2 HDMI ports or it was smart!

This is a great TV, especially because I got it for a great deal! The sound is great and the picture quality is good too. Everyone is jealous of my TV, It is my very first TV and I don't regret purchasing it at all. I highly recommend it.

I bought this T.V. at a before Black Friday sale. It was 159.95 can't beat the quality and picture for the money. Most Black Friday T.V.'s you have to wait in line at Midnight and hope you get one. Got this one. No line no wait.

We've been waiting for a sale to upgrade a few TVs in the house. We caught this one in a Pre-Black Friday sale at a price that allowed us to buy 2 TVs for what we would've probably spent on 1 higher end TV. They work great for our amount of use and we loved the great price.

Bought this on the great Black Friday sales. It's great so far for the price. Picture is great and sound is honestly a lot better than what I thought it would be for the price. As fast as technology is moving, if this lasts 2 or 3 years then it's a great deal. Quality seems pretty good and I am really happy with it so far.
