i bought this television in the fall of 2015 for under $180.00 so the price was right and it does the trick for an HDTV that is 1080P TV. At 60hz it is not the fastest on the market but, again, for the price it is great!

    Input Lag

I use it as a monitor for my computer. Input lag is very minimal. I got 322ms on HumanBenchmark, and 400ms is when it starts becoming a problem. Okay for fps games, just not super competitively

Bought this tv on Nov 10, but did not plug it in until Christmas. On Jan 25, a horizontal blue line appeared across the entire screen. Back to Best Buy and it will be repaired under warranty. See you in several WEEKS (according to Geek Squad). Unfortunately, this was my primary tv - learn from me and don't make that mistake. The positive side, the tv is nice when it worked. It was a good price for the size I needed. I thought the sound from the tv speakers was very good and the picture is clear. Switching between inputs is very slow. I have a TiVo plugged into HDMI1 and an HDMI switch in HDMI2. If I had to do it over again, I would probably buy a brand name with a better reputation and hope for the best.

I am sorry to hear of the issue with the TV panel, but it does sound like Geek Squad is in process to get the TV repaired or replaced under the manufacturer warranty. Once the TV is back in regular order, if you have any setup or troubleshooting concerns, contact us directly at www.InsigniaProducts.com/support/contact.html. - Jon, Insignia Support BBY-ExBrand_Insignia

It's a good tv for cable and movies

If you're looking for a simple TV for the bedroom or living room and don't want to sacrifice a weeks pay to pull it off, this is your TV. If you're playing videogames, then the only thing this screen has going for it is that it's very, very bright and the video processor is just strong enough to handle 1440p. Seriously, that's it.

Not the greatest TV picture quality. However, I'm used to my ST60 panny. However, the TV surpassed my expectations. Pretty hard to beat from a cost / value point if your looking for a good cheap TV.
