    Bought this TV new and have had it for 3 1/2 years. The picture went out but the sound stayed on. I called the store and after transferring me to another person I had to give all my info again. i fortunately bought an extended warranty so the TV is covered. The second person told me I had to bring it in. I told her "NO" that's not what the contract says. If it's over 32" they come out to fix it. Finally she found someone or something and agreed with me. Gave me the warranty number and phone to call for repair. 3 1/2 years is not a good tract record. I would never buy this brand again.

    I bought the tv on special deal of the day. It was a great bargain to pass up. Simple Led 1080p, does what it's suppose to do. Perfect with Xbox one. Great deal with no complaints!

    Got a tv for son to play games on and watch movies with friends on so I can watch what I want. Great TV for the price great picture .... good buy.

    Gave this to my gf in 2013 for Christmas gift. Worked exceptionally well for 2 years, except would not return to previous channel (remote key - it worked, it just wouldn't revert.) Good picture and sound quality. Was subject to excellent handling, set up, etc. Went out about 2 months ago (10/2015). But two years is about all you're gonna get out of this one. Better get the extended warranty. Still powers up but cannot establish a picture. Canceled Best Buy card.Will shop elsewhere now. Wish I could give it no stars.

    I had never purchased this brand before, Although I always buy name brand TVs that time I thought well its just a extra one so I can watch tv,and play video games at the same time...Turns out the old saying is correct, you get what you pay for..The picture to be honest was not that bad,the screen stopped working correctly, i think it was the power board, because it took about 20-60mins for the screen to start working when it was turned on..Once on it worked fine,but the last few times it started taking longer ,and longer...Its cheaper to buy a new one than it cost to repair it ,what a waste Hu? lol I was not using it for games,just tv..

      I am sorry to hear of the issue with the screen, and would like to see this problem corrected for you.     Bought a 40 inch Insignia (no longer available)

    Bought a similar 40 inch Insignia on May 27, 2014. About two seeks ago it stopped working. You attempt to turn it on, the Insignia logo briefly comes on the screen then it shuts off. This TV was until recently used infrequently in our basement. It was used to watch Amazon prime while working out. The speaker was terrible even when it did work. We bought another Insignia 39 inch TV several months later. It is still working and the speaker is much better on it. They are cheap throw-a-ways essentially since it is no longer under warranty and would not pay to repair. I would think twice about buying the Insignia brand in the future. You are probably better off buying a slightly more expensive national branded TV. Samsung, LG and Sony have worked well for us.

    TV is Garbage, Buyer Beware

    TV is Garbage. Bought in November. We are in mid January and it has already gone out. Turn on certain channels and it power cycles in a loop. Called manufacturer to repair under warranty. They said they would send someone out. They then called me back to let me know that I would have to take it to Best Buy for them to fix it. Called Best Buy and they said I have to go through manufacturer. I'm in an endless loop of having a nice big paper weight. I will probably never make another purchase at Best Buy because of this.

    Product is decent for the price. Have found some difficulty in plugging an HDMI cable into one of the ports because of the location as well as dislike that it does not change to the appropriate HDMI setting when an external device is turned on. Picture is decent.
