    I bought this TV because of its reviews and it was a great deal. When I bought it on Thursday for this door buster deal, I was pleased that I even got a TV since there were a limited amount so when I hooked it up today, I was disappointed to find out that the TV screen is cracked. The TV looks good with no physical damage but its when you turn it on is when you clearly see a cracked screen. I'm glad I purchased the 2yr protection plan so I'll definitely be making a trip to best buy. I'm only concerned that I'm able to get a NEW TV and not one that's been open or refurbished because it seems that's what I got after reading a few of the other negative reviews that they too had similar experiences. P.S. I would've uploaded a picture but I packed it back in the box to return it tomorrow and for those reading this, get the protection plan!!!

    Total failure after 4 months of limited use<100hrs

    If you are unlucky enough to have a warranty failure on your insignia tv don't expect to see it for a while. This was my first best buy purchase and likely the last. I had expected a in store warranty replacement on a cheap store brand tv like this not this "expected month +" wait on the repair/service cycle. Week one down and unit still has not been cost totaled or shipped to the geeks at the repair center. I would not call this experience my best buy!

    Broke after 6 months. Insignia NO HELP

    I loved this TV at first. Nearly 6 months with perfect picture and sound quality. 4 days before the 6 month mark and the picture quits working. I call insignia for help, 1) the guy was rude and condescending while trying to fix my tv, 2) after their turn it on and off tricks didn't work I was informed i would have to bring this TV in to Best Buy for repair as no other options were available for this size tv. I even asked about how to get a repairman out to my apartment to fix the tv. In so many words i was told tough luck because thats not how we do it. I live in NYC and am very small. I ordered this online to avoid having to carry a TV the same size as me across the city. They offered NO options to help me repair my tv other than... "You better call a friend to come help you because thats the way it is and we can't help you otherwise." This attitude in UNACCEPTABLE. I will NEVER buy another Insignia product EVER. And I'll think twice before buying a product from Best Buy because apparently it will break in less that 6 months and the only way to get it repaired is to lug is back to their store. I would NEVER recommend this brand or tv to ANYONE. Unless you like carrying a near new tv halfway across the city to hopefully get it fixed by the geek squad.

    The image quality is very good for the price. It does not have "Smart TV" apps, but I find that a positive since I wouldn't use them anyway.

    DO NOT BUY INSIGNIA. I just went to exchange my ONE DAY OLD tv because the software was glitching. Exchanged it for the same model and now there is a DIFFERENT problem with this new one's software. Extremely frustrating. They are cheap and it shows. It is worth it to buy a Samsung or Vizio, even though they're more expensive, at least they will actually work.

    Crappiest television ever!

    First the television had hot spots and then the entire menu disappeared. I have not been able to get support because I hit the year mark. I paid a lot of money to have a useless television now. Please pay extra for a top model, stay away from these generic tvs.

    40 Inches of Garbage

    I purchased this TV, got home, set up, hit the power button, NOTHING! No sound, no picture. Absolutely nothing! I called and completed the troubleshooting to no avail. I then did reviews and found that this was common. Steer clear of Insignia!! Complete garbage! I'll be returning it tomorrow!
