Bought this TV for my daughter's bedroom. Didn't want to break the bank or get anything fancy. This is great quality and value. So happy actually bought another one for our guest room.

My overal quality of Insigbia was average. The picture and high def was good but I was very disappointed on the fragility of the television. It was definitely not built sturdy and don't think it will last me more than two years.

I bought this because it was a great deal and I needed a replacement quickly. It's definitely a great buy. It came in damaged from shipping but Best Buy quickly remedied the issue!!

The TV is light-weight and the colors are sharp. You might need to do some tweaking of your own in order to get richer colors and a wider range. Used primarily for gaming and I found the "game mode" a bit too bright and washed out, but overall a solid television; no problems yet.

This was the perfect size perfect price and thank god for the option to have to buy a smart tv. It was a gift for my elder nana and the smart tv option was just too complicated.

Great picture, easy to set up with sound bar. As with most components now the most challenging part is to get one remote to mange TV, sound bar, cable, etc. Not unexpected.

Got this on sale, and very happy with it for the price. Not the world's best picture or sound, but for a bedroom tv, it's perfect. I was able to scan in a bunch of channels from my antenna with this set that I couldn't with my last set. Would definitely recommend.

Our old TV gave up the ghost during a recent electrical storm and we found ourselves in an immediate need for another. Or at least I did as the football season was fast approaching. We purchased this TV and haven't been at all disappointed. Setup was VERY easy and the picture quality is great. The size is perfect for our space. I can't think of anything negative to report other than my purchasing it doesn't seemed to have improved the playing ability of my favorite team. Darn!

Don,t be put off by the price thinking it is too cheap to be any good. Sure there are better looking TVs of this size with better picture quality however for the money it can't be to beat. And sure there are cheaper tvs in places like K-mart,with names you never heard of, but picture quality doesn't come close. This tv has an really amazing picture for the money. If you are looking for a TV for the a bed room or a extra room this one should be on your short list . This set was purchased as a gift for my sister. She could not be happier. She said, when people come over they often ask,"what kind of TV is that, what a Samsung?" Also don't be put off by the brand name. This is 2nd TV of this brand I've purchased from Best Buy. Bought a 19 " for myself to mount on a kitchen wall , replacing a 32" Samsung (Samsung which was really too big for the look I was tring to achieve ) Not disappointed looks great. The tv is turned on and off maybe 15 times a day had it over 2 years no problems. Believe me this is the perfect gift that doesn"t break the bank but will really be appreciated by the person that receives it. It is a really a nice 40" 1080 basic TV. Go to Best Buy look at one and you will agree you just don't have to spent a ton of money any more to get a good tv with a clear picture with deep contrast. If you think the picture is so so after seeing the tv in the store its because of the other really hi end tvs you'll see at best on the way to the display of this tv. It's called markieting. This set really shines when you get it home It is easy a 4 1/2 stars. Did I mention for the money it is a excellent value? Please don't judge this review by my subject verb aggrement just look at the content, I'm a more of a listener than a talker and I just woke up from a nap :-). It's spot on. Watch for it they go on sale quite freqently.

This TV is perfect. The color is so vibrant. It is excellent for the price. All the bells and whistles and for a wonderful price. Easy to navigate. Excellent buy

It is a nice picture and nice size. Had problems with initial set up of channels. Went through but could not find channels so we had to enter channels manually! Took a lot of time to input each channel.

This TV was one of the least expensive at Best Buy, but the picture quality seems more than satisfactory. I think this TV provides good bang for the buck.

This is a great televion for the price. full 1080p and plenty of HDMI ports. Good sound for a television.

The TV has been performing great! Always nervous before writing a review that the next day something will go wrong, but so far it has been an incredible bargain. Possibly will by another one within the next year if all continues to go well.

I bought this TV to replace a broken 39" model. Insignia has been an amazing TV for me. The picture is great and I paired it with an Insignia sound bar with subwoofer and the sound is great! Would buy again if in the market for a "dumb" TV.

great picture and easy setup. had unit connected to cable box and ready to go in about 70 seconds. No adjustments needed, perfect out of the box.

I purchased this TV to put in a spare room for my grandkids to watch and play video games. It has a good quality picture and is very affordable.

If your are looking for 4K then look elsewhere. But if you just need a good television at a good size for for less than $220 than this one is perfect. The only downside is that it only has two HDMI ports.

Really good value for your money, I"m using mine for a PC monitor and super easy hook up (2min). I would highly recommend this to everyone

I needed something simple for my sons room, he didn't need a smart TV or any of the other extra stuff. Just something we could hook up a DVD player to so he can watch some kids movies, and decent viewing for Disney channel, etc..
