We feel we're getting our money's worth on this one. We pull off the air, and the quality of the pictures is awesome and number of channels sufficient. Finally, there is a remote that is basic and small! And with the TV being designed with legs on both sides, the CD/DVD player easily slips underneath - really nice when space is at a premium.

Great picture and very easy to set up. We had a pro Ken with the inputs teading a new Apple TV.

I was looking for a lower cost TV due to some upcoming career movement. My main goals were a better picture and a little more size (I was upgrading from 26", 720p.) This has surpassed my expectations. Very clear picture, instructions, menus, and the three HDMI ports is one more than most lower cost TVs. Hooked up with no issues and the over the air reception is quite good. Staff at the Albany Best Buy were very helpful too. If this is the right size for you, I highly recommend this TV.

Bought for my living room. Living in a college student filled house it works perfectly fine. The blacks and darks aren't too sharp but it gets the job done for the price.

Brought home the tv and set it up. No complaints. Does everything I expect it to do. The devices I use to connect thru HDMI, coax, and A/V cables all work as expected.

I wanted to mount my TV to the wall in the bedroom and didn't want to spend a ton. I really wanted a Samsung model similar to this one but it was sold out due to Black Friday. I settled for this one and have no complaints. The picture quality is good and I'm using an LG soundbar so not sure how the speakers are. The TV does give off a new TV smell which is pretty intoxicating, but am hoping this goes away soon.

Insignia may not be Sony, but honestly I can't tell a difference. Best value for a 40 inch.

I bought these tvs to use as menu boards in my business. Unfortunately, they do not loop the pictures on a usb device in a continuous loop, they stop at the end of the slideshow, causing me to set each tv to a single picture rather than a steady stream of a variety of photos. Other than that issue, these tvs are a great value. I am happy with the picture, and would highly recommend to someone on a budget.

I was not expecting much about my purchase, but as soonest I installed at home, I was surprised on how bright colors and image looks on this device. good buy !

Our 43 inch Samsung plasma went dead after 4 short years. I like the picture brightness and features of this television just as well. Very good for our bedroom.

I purchased this TV for my daughter who was moving off to college. The size and quality is perfect for her room environment. For the price I paid, i am not too concerned with the refresh rate (60Hz). She only watches streaming show/movies through AppleTV so no need for the SMART version. She is very happy with the set and I would highly recommend if you need a nice TV for a secondary room/environment.

I have purchased Insignias for some time now and am always satisfied. Do not use the speaker system on the TV much but when I do it has been more than adequate.
