The price point didn't promise anything spectacular and my expectations were met. I will spend some more time trying to fine tune it but in hindsight I wish I had just sprung for 4K.

Great price and terrific performer. Just don't get too close as some images lose clarity if your not at least 6 feet away. I will be purchasing this make again.

He set up everything for me and he gave me some tips (short cuts) about my remote control. I enjoy watching my new HD TV compared to my old "tube" TV that I had for 20+ years before it finally gave out.

However, we noticed that ANY dark scenes look terrible. We have played with every setting on the tv including the advanced settings, but the dark scenes have never improved. Even the preset picture settings look terrible, and using the "movie" preset makes everything unwatchable because of how dark it is. If there is something broken with our tv, I will gladly update this review, but right now I am very upset with this purchase.

This was purchased for the guest bedroom so I didn't want to spend a lot on an extra TV that is not used daily. This was on sale for $179 and I couldn't it pass up on such a good deal, a 40 inch to boot! If you see it on sale, buy it!

Had all the inputs needed for our devices. Saved money by not purchasing the model with SmartTV features since we're using U-verse box for Netflix, etc.

Set-up was easy. Using an external antenna with this TV, cable not an option. The HD quality is good and am picking up channels not available before. Would recommend this TV.
