I only needed a TV to put in a workout area so it didn't need to be amazing, just something to view during workouts. Had a suprisenly good picture for the price I paid for it. I definitely would recommend it to others

This product was purchased in your store on 2/12/17 as a gift for my husband for Valentines Day. In just the 3 weeks prior the product has been discontinued being sold in Best Buy stores and the customer service department refused to take it back or give me a store credit. I spend lots of money on behalf of my company and this experience will cause me to take my business both personal and professional elsewhere. The customer service manager at the Tri County location would not give an inch or any compromise at all. Very dissatisfied with the product but MORE dissatisfied with BEST BUY.

It was easy to set up. I like the compact remote. The criticism on TVs in this price range is usually that the speakers are not loud enough. This TV has better speakers than the Hisense it is replacing. I have had it about 4 weeks and I it has worked well so far.

Best price, by far, on a 40" HDTV. The colors look a little saturated, but overall a great deal for the money. Nothing beats Samsung quality, but Insignia is the best you can get for half the price. Bestbuy provides quality support for their products.

Overall, this is a great TV for the price! It is light weight and has an adequate number of HDMI Ports, although, it only has one USB port. Furthermore, it comes with two stands that can be screwed in the TV with ease to allow the TV to stand upright.

It doesn't have a really clear picture. You can definitely see the pixels. The screen never gets completely black so it's not a great TV for watching Blu-Rays in a darkened room. With the backlighting turned up to the proper level there's always a bit coming through with a purplish tint. I use it in my bedroom for watching the news in the morning and evening and some TV shows before going to bed. I don't use the built-in speakers because the sound quality isn't that great. I have it connected to an HTPC/PVR with surround sound speakers.

Terrific television for the price. Given all the brands that I have or do own and had to buy sound bars (external speakers) this sound will amaze you. No sound bar needed. Picture quality is top quality; not The best but great quality.

Great Buy for the price. Good picture and sound. Smaller screen compared to other tvs at the same size. Only downfall is the remote is very small and you cant control the tv any other way. No buttons on the side except for power.

We have several Insignia TVs and have not been disappointed yet. Small remote with a sleep button my wife insisted on. This TV is in our master bedroom. Easy to setup, plenty of connections and decent speakers. Overall good value.

This tv is amazing. Ridiculously cheap price and a perfectly clear and bright display. We have one in every conference room as a presentation device and one in the presidents office for the news. Highly recommend for multiple uses

This was a "Deal of the Day" item, which I found out about through a Best Buy e-mail. I have purchased items before because of these e-mail notifications. I have other Insignia TV's, and have had no problems with them.

This tv replaced a tv that was purchased in 1994. It actually has a better picture than the 48" version I purchased a few months ago. Every Insignia made product that I have purchased has been a good buy.

Wasn't to sure about it when I first bought it. But as soon as I hooked it up and saw the picture all worries went away. Good HD TV for good price.

Got this for my daughter's first apartment in college. It's perfect! Looks like we spent a lot and it was cheap. Connects to wifi easily. We love it!

Purchased this set for my aunt who was moving into a senior's apartment community. Great picture and quality, standalone sound. Overall a great value for a 40" television when you are on a budget.

If you are looking for a good quality TV for a reasonable price, then this is it. Perfect for a kids room / bedroom. (Probably wouldn't have it my main TV if you watch a lot of sports or movies)

I use the tv as a monitor for my cable and run the sound through my stereo. For the price, it is wonderful! It's exactly what I wanted and the price was incredible.I am very satisfied.
