do not like the Chanel selection proses where I have to add a point number to get HD channels as 10.1 in to the remote

Liked the price. Had it delivered to the address we are having Christmas at.

Nice tv but the picture quality is not the best and in a sound bar is needed but it is my first flatscreen

there is a reason why this tv was so cheap. next time will spend the extra money and get a better one.

The sales person was helpful. But the picture quality is fair. I may need to contact the manufacturer.

The screen was cracked upon delivery and it was a difficult product exchange in store.

It is an inexpensive tv so you get what you pay for. The picture is ok but not wonderful.

I bought this TV about 2+ years ago... my now 2yr old has hit it with various objects (hot wheels cars, plastic bats, his hands, etc.) many times over the past year and a half and not even 1 pixel has been damaged, nor are there any scratches. The picture is still as clear as it was on day one. It was easy to set up, and lightweight. Fingerprints and other kid-smudges wipe off easily with a damp rag or baby wipe. I am still very satisfied with this TV!

Processor is a little bit slower than other name brands.

I wanted to wait 1 month before posting a comment. I had done my homework and read as many comments and as much information on this tv that I could find. I went to Best Buy in person to see the tv and it's picture twice before buying. Although there weren't many negative reviews I was a little concerned as I have never owned an Insignia tv before. However, I felt that I had done the proper amount of research to make an informed purchase. I did use a couple of gift cards for this purchase so the actual out of pocket month was minimal...so I felt okay with any risk I might be taking with this tv. I also decided to purchase the 2 year Geek Squad extended warranty just in case. Bottom line - I really like this tv. I only use it for viewing tv shows and games. I do have cable service and the picture is always good quality. The colors are vivid and bright and the sound is basic but good at 12-14. For my own preferences I did have to play around with a few settings (color, brightness, contrast, etc.) as at first the picture seemed very light and bright and color saturated. This was easy to do though. This is a BASIC no frills Hd tv. It has been performing well for me and I am very pleased with my purchase.

I figured I would give the Insignia brand a try for a small TV in the office. It only worked for about two weeks and the screen quit working. The Best Buy consultant at the desk when I returned it said that this is a common problem. I went for a name brand TV to replace this one for only $30-40 more and am very happy I did.

I spent a week or so looking at the TVs beat buy had to offer. Deciding whether I wanted a Smart TV or not. Deciding if it was worth getting a 4K TV just for my bedroom, etc. When it came down to it, I decided this was the one. Slightly larger than your average bedroom TV, but I wanted something in this size as I planned to be using it with my Xbox One. So far I'm quite pleased. The picture quality is nice. The menu is easy to figure out and it's easy to get things the way you like them. I haven't had to turn the volume up past 12, but I am considering a sound bar just because.

Got this during the Black Friday sales, can't beat the price, it's the perfect size for a bedroom, picture quality is great once you make the adjustments to suit your preferences. Sound quality isn't bad, provides good sound in a bedroom, if using in a larger area I would recommend getting a soundbar or surround setup. TV is very lightweight and is also wall mountable. This is a great deal.

Not a very good tv even for the price. Picture and sound both suck real real bad

Attempted setup only to find the HMDI 1 port was bad. First called cable company thinking that it was a problem there, but then called Insignia tech line. Had to box it up, and bring it back. That was 2 hours that I'll never get back.. Exchanged it for a Samsung. You get what you pay for.
