The picture quality is great and the look of the tv itself is great. Great TV for the price. Wasn't expecting a whole lot given its a $190 TV, but definitely wroth the price. I have watched a few movies and netflix on the tv and its been great.

I was able to get this 40" Insignia HDTV for about $229 new in the box! It gets more stations than my old set, even with the same antenna hookup. Insignia is considered a bargain brand, but this one seems to outperform other brands that are well respected, and at a much better price. It also has better features than some of the others that I considered too. It's a great way to get antenna TV for those budget conscious cord cutters that want to save by getting rid of cable or dish.

This is an excellent TV! It was a great price and the quality of the TV is spectacular! We use the TV for simply watching a movie to playing video games. It's great!

Bought this TV when it was on sale (which even better) and I don't regret getting it. It's HD and the perfect size. The price is also great for what you're getting.

This is a basic LED TV. It does not offer any extras and the sound quality is not great. The picture quality is good however and it is easy to use.

This is a good solid TV for a great price! I bought this TV for a game room as I really just needed a low cost solution for this location. The picture is good thou and it does everything I need it to do. I thought the speakers were a little weak so I purchased an inexpensive sound bar to augment it and couldn't be happier with the setup.

5 stars for the sale price of $220. Picture looks very nice using the HDMI input from my cable box. Sound is OK (most TV's have mediocre speakers) but I paired this TV with the Insignia soundbar that was also on sale for $60 (used an optical cable) and now the sound is good. I also bought the 5 year Geek Squad plan in case anything happens to the TV (hope I don't have to use it). I'm happy with the purchase.

This is my first purchase for a flat screen TV, I still had the old tube TV and decided it was time for a change. I purchased the TV last week for $199 plus tax. I am very impressed with the clarity and sound of the TV. Great purchase.

Very happy w this tv. Easy to put on feet, quick set up (just attached the HDMI Cabke and boom done). Good pic and sound. Love the 3 HDMI ports. For less than $200 for a 40" television, that's a pretty darn good deal.

This Insignia 40" LED TV has an excellent, clear, and colorful picture! I believe that it's remote control is quite small and I'd worry about losing it or sitting on it so I purchased the Insignia Universal Remote model NS-RMT415 and it works just great (after proper set up) and this TV's menu has a lot of functionality and it is relatively easy to navigate through to customize the TV's settings. Not all TV's these days have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but this one does so you can avoid spending a lot of money for Bluetooth headphones. The TV's "3" HDMI ports, 1 USB port, and Digital Optical Audio Output are also a plus. I would agree with other product reviewers of this item that incorporating a sound bar is a plus and I use the Insignia model NS-SB316. This is where that Digital Optical Audio Output comes in handy as I was told that using this connection for the sound bar will give the best performance. With the sound bar, the sound is amazing. The TV's legs are easy to mount to the TV set and I believe that they are adequately thick and strong and their rubberized pads should protect your furniture. The problem I "did" have with this TV set is that after I conducted a channel scan with my indoor HDTV antenna connected and deleted the channels I did not want, if I clicked the #2 on the remote, I would be launched into "analog" Channel 2 which was a "NO SIGNAL" and just black and white fuzz. I "did" uncheck (a.k.a. "unbubble") the analog Channel 2 from the TV's channel list. My 32" Insignia connected to the same antenna prior to the 40" installation took me to HD Channel 2-1 when I pressed the #2 button on the remote control. When I tried to change the TV settings to factory settings and I performed another channel scan, I lost about 2/3 of my channels and I could not get them back and I had to return the TV back to the store and the second TV (exact same model) only received a limited amount of the channels as well. I had no problem receiving these channels on the 32" Insignia TV. I even replaced the antenna with the same model--only that replacement antenna was brand new, but that did not help. I live extremely close to our broadcast towers--relatively speaking. I'm just using this TV as a monitor now with my laptop connected via an HDMI cable and there are so many viewing options out there using this configuration and, again, the picture "is" beautiful and so is the price!

I bought this TV in November and the sound is very low. Unless you have money to buy a sound bar along with TV stay clear. Picture clarity is not bad but again it's a cheap TV so I couldn't expect better

The HD quality is what I would expect from a $154 TV. Works great for watching playoff baseball. It has a QAM Tuner in it so you can watch cable from a wall outlet without any third party accessories. BEWARE of buying an open box item. The label said all components were in the box but it was missing a power cord. Luckily, the power cord from my PS3 works, but I just cannot play my ps3 until I get the one in the mail that best buy is sending me.

After reading the reviews , I bought one. Easy to set up, Not smart ,but thats ok because my DVD does that. Very pleased with its performance

I just purchased my new tv less than a week ago and I love it but it keeps turning off and on by itself. Considering in returning it.

I bought this as a just because gift for the Mr and put it up myself. It works like a dream and very bright screen! Don't let the name fool you; my old 24' box tv by insignia finally blew out after 11 yrs.

After comparing models in the store I decided upon this tv. I am way beyond pleased.
