The picture is crisp and clear but the sound is mediocre... but for the price you'll learn to live with it... or it's nothing a soundbar cant solve! I recommend to adjust the settings to get the best possible picture and sound. Overall, good tv for a great price... buy it... it's definitely worth it.

Regarding the volume level, the unit has two 5W speakers which should be adequate for most home environments; the largest impediment to volume is the outgoing volume of the source. Depending on what the video source is (cable box, DVD, e.g.) you might try using a different connection type, or trying another device to see if the volume is also low from that source. –Jason, Insignia Products

Best Buy delivered fast and the delivery guys were done unloading and installing in twenty minutes. The tub isn't huge, but it gets the job done quickly and quietly while only filling with what it needs for the size of the load it senses. Pretty frikkin great for a $300 machine. I'm not too familiar with Amana, so I got the 5 year Geek Squad protection plan and I have no worries! A great buy and a great experience overall.

It has very good sound for tv speakers which is a nice surprise. I still us a sound bar though. This tv is a replacement for my 39 inch insignia lcd which still works great. You cant beat the price. its about half of what the major brands cost and works just as good if not better.
