I got this insignia and the picture was great but after a week the picture started going blank after 10 minutes so I returned it and exchanged it for the same model. I have had it for a month and no issues. Picture is great.

However, it has one of the best picture qualities on it than the others, with the exception of the bigger tv on the 3 rd floor for entertaining and watching movies

Have not had a chance to do any gaming with it yet. It replaced an aging DLP as basement TV, and it was a good choice. Has no smart TV functions or apps, so you will require additional hardware for that. Those aren't terribly important to me.
