Works well for our Use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought 3 when they were on sale a few weeks back to be mounted to mobile carts. The 3 HDMI jacks are perfect for our needs. One person mentioned while using that the screen stayed dim like when the menu is on but after turning off and back on worked fine. Overall satisfied thus far.

Great for the Price, After Tweaks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very hesitant to make this budget Insignia TV my first large TV purchase, as there were no reviews available at the time of purchase (Mid April, 2015), and the unit was not even being displayed in stores. However, there are thousands of other positive reviews on the site regarding Insignia TVs, so I took the plunge. After getting the set home I was initially disappointed in the picture quality. After messing with various settings though, I am now thoroughly impressed by the value offered with this LED TV. Concerning the settings I used, I would recommend: -Setting Sharpness to 0. This was the most noticeable change, and got rid of many issues I was having with the TV. -Set color profile to Normal. -In Advanced Settings, turn off all of the special effects, such as Dynamic Contrast. -Turn off Overscan (No idea why this is on by default) -You may or may not want to bump color up from 50 to 65/70 ish, but that all depends on your preferences. I find that it didn't make colors too saturated, but did give a bit more life to skintones by having color set to 60. PROS: -Very Low Input Lag. I have nothing to measure this with, but I have played on countless monitors and TVs, some of which were dreadful, and others which were lightning fast. This isn't going to blow away a high-end Sony unit, but for me there was almost no delay between when I pressed a button on my controller and when that action was carried out on screen. -Vibrant Picture. Without going too crazy with the color setting, I found the image quality to be very pleasant. Nothing was over-saturated or washed out, even at stock settings. Also black levels seem excellent so far, with much less crushing than I anticipated. -Inputs. The fact that this TV has 3 HMDI ports as well as component for only 300 bucks is amazing. I can have my Xbox, Playstation, Wii, and PC all hooked up at the same time! -Size. 43" is a great size for a small living room, or even a bedroom if you have the space. The depth of this monitor is also great, and shouldn't take up too much room on a desk or entertainment center. -Bezel. Unlike TVs of yesteryear, this Insignia unit has a fairly thin bezel around its outer edge, and should look nice and svelte in any environment. -No Smart Features. All of my streaming needs are being handled by either gaming consoles or connected devices, so I have no need for smart features. I imagine that there are quite a few people out there in a similar position, so not being charged extra for half-baked Netflix and Hulu implementations is nice. CONS: -Ghosting/Motion Blur. I'm not even sure if this is the right thing to call this, but it is certainly the panel's biggest weakness. When some kind of fast action is carried out on the screen, such as a melee attack in an FPS game, there is a noticeable trail behind whatever is moving fast (such as a knife or sword), that lingers as the pixels refresh themselves. While I found it easy to get over this simply because of the price of the panel, it will certainly annoy some gamers/content consumers out there, whose standards may be higher than mine. -No Smart Features. While I think this is a pro, many will find that not having streaming apps is a letdown. -60hz. This TV isn't going to win any awards for its refresh rate. At this price, you should expect some features to be axed, but I know some will be disappointed by the lack of 244 or even 120hz refresh rate. Overall, I'm glad I went with this 43" Insignia over something more expensive but only marginally better. In the future I will upgrade, but this is an absolute gem of a starter television!

Love the television
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The young man who assisted me had to look quite a bit to find the product, and was very apologetic that I had to wait. I didn't mind. He was awesome. He assisted throughout the sale. I'm very pleased overall with the service I received and the product itself. Have told several people about it.

Great tv for the price! !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had been talking about replacing an old Sylvania tv that had started failing to show picture. This one is excellent for the purpose. The only complaint is that the sound bar on it is on the bottom of the tv, not facing out. It seemed like we had to turn it up more.

Good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The color is a bit off from what I'm used to (not bad just a bit different), and the speakers it has aren't great, but for the price I'm happy. I hooked some speakers I had to the TV and it's all fine now.

Great TV for game room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as a gaming TV. It had been great as it's primary function is for xbox one and pc connection. I purchased the open box with a full 4 year warranty for less than new. Happy with my purchase.

Great tv for my brother
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My brother needed tv, the one he had was so heavy it took 2 people to carry it. He loves it. He has no complaints. I'm use to having more clearity in the picture. But it is a great tv for the price.

Good TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall TV is good. Build and design seem good. Picture could be better but that may be due to my Dish Network. Sound is ok, the number of connections good. Great TV for smaller room.

Awesome buy for the kid's loft area.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this Tv because most of the TV's in my home are insignia and I love the brand. It's the perfect size for my kids recreational space and they love it also. Nothing negative to say here!
