I added my own thermometer and I am consistently at -10. Just plug in and it cooled very quickly. I did run it for a day before I put anything in it.

If you are buying this to replace the previous model of this same product, it’s interior shape is a little different(slightly wider) but works just as good. The interior light has been enough to provide enough light when looking in the freezer.

The insignia freezer it has performed very well for me and my family. Best Buy seem to have good quality products. And I will be buying products from Best Buy in the future

It’s not to big and that’s what I wanted. The first one was unleveled and I had to send it back. However, they came out and exchanged it right away. The service guys that came out the second time was so nice and made sure I was happy with the product and that it was leveled correctly. It works great so far. I would have given it a 5 but couldn’t because of the exchanges.

It works great and is very quiet! It also comes with a scraper to help minimize ice build up. Would definitely purchase again if needed

Just keep in mind it is hard to see items that are at the bottom if you fill it very full, without moving items out of it. This is no fault of the freezer but because it is small it is much deeper than it is wide. So moving things a side to look under items isn't really possible. Otherwise an excellent freezer for overflow from the refrigerator/freezer.

Inspect closely for damage immediately after receiving it. Some have complained about broken control knobs, dings, dents, etc. I received a good one, very happy with it.
