    I mean, if you want a defective freezer that fluctuates 20-30 degrees consistently, then buy it. I've had to have to replaced once and the even the replacement has the same issue. I initially purchased it because of all the amazing reviews - I can't imagine I got two lemons back to back with the exact same compressor coil issue. Buy a different brand.

    This was great for the price. However, the door does not close without having to put something heavy sitting on top of it.

    Picked up this freezer that was an open box item. Got all the way home (45min away) and opened the freezer that was taped shut, and it had a real bad odor of rotten meat. The freezer was labeled as "satisfactory" with no missing parts. The basket and ice scraping tool was missing. I have called bestbuy several times for a solution but has been unsuccessful. Will be returning today.

    So I bought the 5.0 cu ft. version of this chest freezer. All of the product information on the best buy website and in the store on the display tag says its 24.9" deep but when I got the product the box said its 21 inches deep. I went in the store and measured the display (with tag saying its 25" deep") and its 21 inches deep. So the freezer is actually smaller than advertised! Funny thing is the previous model of this 5.0 cu ft freezer had the larger dimensions.

    I initially ordered the 5 cubic foot freezer but the item was damaged so I returned it and attempted to order a replacement but this size was out of stock so I had to order the next size up In exchange for all of my hassle, Best Buy offered the following price adjustment — the 7 cubic foot freezer for the price of the 5 cubic foot freezer — but they never followed through with the price adjustment as promised

    Good price for the item, but come on Best Buy! This is the SECOND (out of 3) appliance I have purchased in the last month that has been dented.

    It failed after 1 week of use. It was supposed to be plug and play but instead gave me a false sense of security and after I came back from a trip all the food inside was spoiled. Quality is very low and wouldn't recommended to anyone. I can't get off the smell of the machine and now thinking I'll have to dispose it. Can't believe how bad (ie junk) this appliance is for this price.

    Disappointed with my defective freezer

    Freezer started making ongoing bizarre rattling noises two days after plugging it in. I followed the instructions and waited two hours before turning it on. Initially it made the usual freezer sounds as it began cooling. Yesterday, it started to make rattling noises. Seems like I received a defective freezer. What a pain it's going to be to return it!

    Well.....this little freezer seemed to be a great buy until we returned home from vacation only to have our entire freezer thawed and all of our meats are now bad. Not sure this was worth it! The pork butt's alone are worth more than the freezer!

    The freezer works but the light keeps coming on and off on and off, also I bought a ice maker actually two from Best buy and both of them have gone bad they will not honor their warranties so I'm done with Best buy I'm going to pay my bill off and I'll never buy nothing from this company again

    Bought it August 2021, stopped working/freezing food yesterday. Freezer full of food wasted. Called customer support today. Was told to buy a new one since it has only 1 year warranty. Not recommended. Very disappointed.

    Store was incapable of delivery - merchandise sat in store for almost 1month. With your change in delivery policy made it IMPOSSIBLE I’ve learned that only items I can carry out can we purchase. Anything requiring delivery you are incapable Thanks for discriminating half your customers. Good to know how you operate

    Purchased Dec 2022 and by Jun 2024 it has already stop working. Cheaper price is attractive but beware.
