This TV is almost as good as my Samsung 7000 Series; minus the 3D and some smart features...for $1000 less. For a day of football or a movie this is a kickass TV.

We looked at many smart tv's , this one was the cheapest. It also has a great picture. We also have an older insignia lcd that we've had for years with no problems.

Been meaning to get a better TV for the living room and when I saw insignia teamed with Roku to create a smart TV it was too good to pass on. Outstanding picture, affordable, and tons of functionality with the built-in Roku. Satisfied customer!

This television has many features for the money and has a great picture. Took a few days to sinc the t.v. with our cable but was well worth the trouble.

It is reasonably priced and is smart. The built-in Roku is great. The picture is excellent too. I hooked mine into a nice bose sound system and now I have movie nights at home. :-)

I used to be a big time TV guy in the early 2000's, worrying about contrast and black level. Color wheels, plasma image burn etc. But as I've gotten older, Ive decided that a pretty good picture at the right price is good enough. This Tv hits those points, Its 1080p, has multiple hdmi's, has an inviting user interface. I never used the remote, I used a harmony instead, but its simple enough. My wife loves the boot screen where each input is labeled and easy access to Plex, Netflix and Hulu.

Had a Samsung 50" smart TV but it messed up 6 months after purchase. I got my money back and decided to buy this one...which is bigger for a cheaper price. It's not as clear as the Samsung but the picture is still good. We have had a 40" Insignia for over 5 years with no issues. The smart hub is so much easier to navigate on the Insignia than the Samsung. The sound is also much louder than Samsung. We are very happy with it!

The TV was easy to hook up and the picture is really clear. Love the built in Roku feature. Very reasonably priced for all the features it has

I needed a tv on the cheap after my cat broke my 50 inch sony bravia television in my bedroom. After doing a lot of research I had narrowed it down to the 50 inch sharp television with the built in roku. I noticed that the screen on the Sharp looked quite matte on the sharp and so I was also looking at this insignia which was 5 inches bigger but had the same sale price. I have to say this tv is surprisingly great. Picture is nice and the tv actually feels more stable as the feet are metal. The picture may not be a sony but I gotta say there isn't much difference!

This is a great tv for the price. Love the Roku. Easy to move around from regular tv to streaming channels. Sound is ok. I got the sound bar with sub woofer. Picture is great.

I love my 55 inch Insignia Roku TV . I had an older insignia which worked fine. I was able to give it to son and his family.

For under $500, you cannot go wrong with this TV. I'm taking off 1 star for two reasons: the lack of an ethernet port, and a slower version of Roku built into the TV. PS- What's with the odd messages when starting the TV? Moving Mountains? Starting The Hamster Wheel? See my included picture.

This tv was a gift for my dad for his birthday. He loves it. It has a beautiful picture. Colors are so crisp and bright. Would recommend!
