Insignia 7.0 Cu Ft Chest Freezer

However when we unboxed the box that was in perfect shape, there was a wrinkle in the lid and a corner of the chest below the lid was cracked, then there was a broken part to the lid on the other side. Since all was in tact I just glued it all and hope for the best. The damage seemed to have been done in the factory because the box was in perfect shape. Other than that it is just what I was looking for.

I also buy meats in bulk and use this freezer and one other just like it to store my food. This stays frozen and I have to defrost it only once per year, and it’s no big deal. It is small, but it holds a lot for two people. I’d buy it again.

Previous freezer didn't have a light. We like the light more than we thought we would. Only thing we don't like is the basket. It keeps falling down inside the freezer when you lean in to get something from the bottom.

I ordered it online and we borrowed a car to pick it up. Got home and it had a lot of damage. It works though. There was dents all over, cracks and scuffs. With it working, I hope it will stay that way and the damage doesn’t effect it later. We tried to see if they would exchange it but we would have to bring it ourselves or pay $50 to deliver. That’s more than the delivery originally. Seems like they didn’t care very much about loyal customers.
