After buying one for the back of my desk, I went back for 3 more. They're bright, have a decent amount of color choices and I have them running 16 hours a day. It's been a few months, no problems. For $20 you can't beat these, especially since you can custom cut them to length. I just unplugged one to see if it retains the color/mode selection and it did....so if you wanted to run these off a PC monitor or TV USB power as backlighting it should work fine. I have a different LED/RGB device on my TV and my monitor has factory backlighting. I use these just to add additional ambient lights. The last photo (bottom right) is washed out in the photo, but actually shines pink/teal on the wall like the close-up to the left of it. The lights are bright, but not as bright as they appear in the pictures. They're just right for me, but also have brightness level adjustments if you chose to dim/brighten them. 10 for value, quality is great so far, ease of use is 5 stars, but the lead wire would be nice if it was longer between the light strip and power switch. I recommend them to many PC and console gamers on social media due to the price/value.

Led's are bright and gel strip provides extra layer of protection. Just make sure to properly clean the application surface before adhering as the strips have trouble cling on to unclean surfaces. The photo show the difference between this and a govee led strip.

It is a good strip and good strong light. Very durable when it comes to the sticky side it comes with. I would recommend

Excellent utility light for home networking/media enclosure. Used this item to illuminate a home network/multimedia enclosure. It works perfectly and is USB powered. Also it has adhesive backing perfect for my application.

Super easy to install. Looks great on 65". Installed in a U shape about 3" from edges.

Nice light strip, easy to use. Multi- colored. Husband placed behind flat screen tv & add a nice backlight. Would by again. Better quality that other big brand stores.

This is the third Insignia strip we have purchased and have been very happy with them all. This is the first one we had to cut to fit on the back of our TV, but it was super easy and works as good as it looks. The USB plugs in to the back of the TV so it comes on only when the TV does. Definitely recommend.

I bought four of Insignia 8 inches LED Light Strip Multi color for about 15 bucks each on sale. It's my favorite LED colors and it's very beautiful looking at them. It come with USB adapter and LED Light Strip cord together. I would buy again when get on sale again. Cheers :-)

Stong lights and they dont get too hot..very easy to operate as well

I use them for lighting under my cabinets, easy to install and conceal most of power cord. Sticks well so far to cabinet. Wish there were more zip ties to hold more turns in place though.

These lights are bright. They are easy to use and install. The instructions are easy to understand. This is a great plug and play easy to use lighting system.

Got it while it's on sale. Regular price is a bit too high for such basic functionality as there are various price points for the same product on Amazon. Maybe increase the price for $2 more to include a remote controller. One con that I found is the controller part should be closer to the USB plug as it will be more reachable and not high up on the ceiling. So if you like change settings often like me, it's gonna be a hassle. One pro that I can praise is the included wall plug. Otherwise it's been working pretty good so far.

Was very easy to set up and hang in room. Helps keep room well lit at night while gaming without needing room light on at all times.

Pick these lights strips up for a simple easy way to add to my set up without breaking the bank but with some that has good quality. Add this to a cheap smart plug (also brought at best buy) to make it even cooler
