This item was incredibly cheap and why I purchased it. Did not need anything fancy or flashy, and so far this has worked well. Would recommend if looking for low-end entry model.

Bought this for my 4 year old niece so she could watch Dora YouTube videos. It definitely gets the job done. And it was cheap enough not to get upset if she breaks this one too

This is not the greatest tablet. The battery drains quickly and slow to charge. It also gets quite warm while charging. However, it is sufficient for what I am using for. Light web surfing and videos. I am using it primarily as a Roku and Tivo remote.

This tablet replaces a previous version of the Insignia 8 inch flex tablet I've had for over two years. The marshmallow version of Android is better, and faster than 4.4 KitKat but the size of the tablet is over an inch smaller in width so it's much more like a slightly longer 7 inch tablet or reader that is too skinny. That is a big disappointment. It just doesn't feel like an 8 inch tablet. Someone at the store suggested that if I want a larger tablet to look at the 10inch but I wanted an 8 inch that was similar to the other one .. 6.5 inches wide by 8 inches long. This is a little over 5 inches wide and just about 8 inches long. When I switched from a 7 inch tablet to the old Insignia 8 inch it felt like a real upgrade but this actually feels like I went back to a 7 inch size tablet as far as screen view is concerned. Not very happy with the new design.

Good display, great price, responsive.....but, several times the battery drained when not in use and the unit would not charge up fully unless I used a different charger. And, no matter what, it would take almost all day to recharge. The rest of the time it was "normal" and charged in a few hours. It was vary inconvenient to turn on the unit and find it "dead". I tried the unit for 30 days and returned it for a store credit, then used the credit to purchase the 7" Kindle Fire. (It has its own limitations and the display is not as nice/bright...but it is dependable).

Keep in kind what your using this for it's not the swiftest of tablets if reading and or watching videos it's fine but don't expect to game or run multiple applications

This tablet is "you get what you pay for" good. It works for general internet surfing and reading, but for games and other more complex apps, it starts to get bogged down.

it is not to big, yet not to small that one has to squint to read the screen.It is just right for someone starting out.the only problem is keeping them off it..

Got a white one last year and it did well for as much as I paid for it. The kid needed another one this year because the charging port became too loose. We got this one and the processor's speed seems to have been reduced or wasn't upgraded from the previous version to match increased demand from the base app. The touch screen sensitivity and response times are lacking too. Not only that, but the one and only portfolio case available for this tablet (same brand) does not allow you to charge it while it is installed.

Nice size, bright display, easy to operate, good storage space. I would definitely purchase again. I bought the 8 and 10 inch models. No problems as of yet.

I only need the tablets to act as a wall panel for my smart system. However I found this tablet lacking many of what I considered to be standard features and it was slow and unresponsive even though it was brand new. I bought three total and will be taking them back. Also, battery last for less than a day and less than 4 hours in use. All that being said, it was still a functioning android tablet that, for the price, may be more suited for younger people who are not always 'careful' with their items.

This was a great tablet for my kids while we traveled. On the plane in the car it was cheaper than buying TVs for the car.

Purchased for my mother in law. She was very excited and it's pretty simple for her to use. Great for the basic. Web searching and games. She loves it

Purchased this for my little one so that she had her own device. Great price and she loves it. Volume could be a little louder but we like it overall

This was purchased for my grandson. It didn't take long for him to start using it. He was very happy with it. It's a great starter tablet for anyone.

I like that there's enough space on the tablet to download and use many apps. The downside to this tablet is that the touchscreen freezes very often and needs to be recharged constantly. It's OK as a spare tablet

Bought this for a friend that needed a cheap tablet for temporary studies and it has worked fine for use like an e-reader and basic web browsing.

This tablet was bought to use with applications for projects I was doing. Midway through the project it cutoff, not because of battery either. I haven't contacted customer support yet but they will be contacted soon.

The product is reasonably small, easy to carry in my purse, user friendly and all features are easy to use.

Does what I need to do. Easier to read than the small screen on my phone. Disappointed I couldn't download flash player. Would be able to do more
