A glass lid is an essential piece in my opinion. Nevertheless I purchased it along with the Multi Cooker it fits as a gift which was well received!

It allows you to store your food in the refrigerator after cooking. It goes on the pressure cooker inside pot so you can leave food inside and cover the pot with a lid.

I wish they would have just added it with the PC since I didn't know how it worked and thought it was similar to a crockpot but cooked much faster.

Used once while doing the crock pot and washed in the dishwasher. Material used in manufacturing was free of any defects. Worked as described and fit the device fine.

Its nice to keep your foods hot and able to see though the top if using it as a crockpot.
