This is great if you want to transfer data from non smart phone. Bluetooth is the most useful for entering and extracting contact information from cell phones since hands free devices need a semi universal com protocol for doing this. The product has other features like you can text messages using a laptop through cell phones.

Works great! Use with my raspberry pi 2, setup was easy and works every time with my PS3 controller.

Works good on the Windows 10 computer I purchased it for, except that the software downloaded from the website crashed the computer. Uninstalled the software and just using the Windows drivers solved the problem. Overall good buy for the $20 spent.

Plug and play. Easy. Only buy Microsoft keyboards and Mice ... have not been satisifed with longevity of others. Compact, easy to use, but programmable (speed of scroller, etc).

I needed a blu tooth adapter so I could connect my headphones to my pc and this adapter did the trick it works as intended and is inexpensive. I would recommend this product.

The Insignia Bluetooth USB (formerly known as Rocket-fish) has allowed me to connect my Bose Bluetooth speaker to enjoy much better sound quality than the HP notebooks internal speakers have the capability of. The initial set up was a bit more than expected , however, overall it was still pretty smooth operation.

I needed a bluetooth adapter for the desktop I built a few years back. I have my printer, speakers, and Razor mouse set up through this and they all work great.

Bought this to use with some headphones that had both wireless and Bluetooth capabilities. The wireless never worked properly so I went for this adapter to use the Bluetooth functionality. Now the headset connects consistently all the time. Wish I had gone with this from the start.

This is my second attempt at adding bluetooth. First USB based bluetooth adapter (different brand) kept crashing and saw this one on closeout for $9. Same problem, and it is a Windows driver issue in Windows 10. Both used the same Broadcom driver and had the most recent version. Even took my CPU to the Microsoft Store for their free technical support. They immediately knew from the BSOD error message that was a hardware interupt issue. They made sure I had the mosr recent version of everything - Windows 10, all device drivers including bluetooth one, and even updated the BIOS on my motherboard. Problem persisted. Not returning it becase only $9. While I won't recommend this item, I appear to have corrected the issue on my 3rd attempt with an internal PCIE card combining wireless and bluetooth - not sold at Best Buy. It is Intel based (no Broadcom drivers) and the same brand as my motherboard.

You will need to use the website in the instructions to download the correct drivers. Otherwise it may not work. Bought it on sale and it's nice to use when you want Bluetooth on your older laptop. Used it to sync my job speaker and for a Bluetooth mouse.

I bought this for my computer that doesn't have built in bluetooth. I use it with my bluetooth headset while I'm at work. You'll most likely will have to go to the website they give you to download the updated driver for your OS, but other than that, installation is simple. A couple of times I had connection issues, but I simply disconnect the adapter from the computer and plugged it back in and all was well. Though, the connection issues could have been an issue with my headphones or the adapter, but overall, I've very satisfied with it.

i bought this device with the expectation that it could pair up with my lg soundbar. The Bluetooth paired up great with all my devices except for the sound bar. After doing some research online I found out that the stack it uses is not compatible with my sound bar.

I used this adapter to add Bluetooth capabilities to my PC Gaming Desktop and it worked just as it should. Solid connection and easy to use.

Used the bluetooth dongle to connect a bluetooth headset to my desktop. Easy to set up. However, after pairing the headset, there were a few times the headset would not associate and would have to repair again. However, this could be the headset as well.

Works very well for my PC laptop... It is a small device that matches all my Bluetooth sound systems. Occasionally if I have too many applications open the sound may have some delays and the sound cracks a little... Other than that... Great product!!!

Bought a laptop thinking that it was Bluetooth enabled but discovered afterwards that it wasn't. This device was any easy fix rather than going through the hassle of returning the laptop and shopping for another
