Replacement Speakers, now a Replacement Turntable

I could not set the speakers to Bluetooth mode and ended up replacing them today. Now I find that the turntable won’t connect via Bluetooth! I called Insignia Tech Support to report a problem with the Bluetooth connection. After going through some basic checks with her, she advised me to connect the speakers with the cables provided. Everything worked well with the hard wired connection and she was about to call it a day when I reminded her my problem was with the Bluetooth connection. I was eventually advised to return the turntable to Best Buy. The staff at Best Buy in Bellingham have been excellent but Insignia products and their tech support leave much to be desired.

I hook it up to my bluetooth speakers and right speaker works fine, not so much for the left. It is barely working. Yes i tried the speaker on another Bluetooth device and works perfectly. Needless to say back to the store.

However, I could not get it to play records. The problem may have been with the stylus or the counterweight system for putting pressure on the stylus. I could hear the music. but it was suppressed by all of the static and crackling. It was so well designed that I ordered another one and, unfortunately, it did the same thing. My old turntable had a similar weighting system and I had no trouble with it, so I am not a turntable rookie. I am jealous of all the people who bought this and were able to enjoy it!

It's got a good cartridge and stylus?" Whoa baby, it's bad. I have an Audio Technica LP120, LP60 and a cheapo ION turntable, all sound better than this. The sound is really thin and the bass distorts. I switched it from the built in phono to an external and it got a little better, but still not great. It's a skipping machine too. On both regular records and super dynamic ones like Daft Punk Discovery I had skip issues. Maybe I just got a clunker, but this is going back.

Better than a Crosley but still unusable

It doesn't skip if I set the tracking weight high but then it would make a scratching sound on the needle, which presumably damages records. It really is good on paper but unfortunately still cheap. Better than a Crosley at $55 for sure but if you care about your records get something better.

Not worth the money

Instructions were kinda spotty. Took forever to figure out the placement of the weight to get the needle just right. Returned item, I got it for my kids 18th and she said it was just too complicated
