Definitely doesn't feel a sturdy as my Canon Speedlite 430EXIII-RT flash but considering the price difference the Insignia is a great value. I was just looking for a simple, easy to use slave flash on a low budget and this did the job perfectly.

I have bought this flash for my new Canon M50 mirrorless camera. It is not too heavy , and just right size to carry around in small kit bag and it does smart job of a extra flash power without costing much on budget

Performance was really good. Big problem is drains the battery really bad. and ready time between firing is too large. be handy with rechargeable battery sets.

I needed a transmitter/transceiver for off camera lighting. I used this lens as a master/trigger for the key light off camera flash and it got the job done. It's a nice compact size and it has enough power to fill in shadows.

I am fairly new to using a DSLR with no flash but this hotshoot flash is great on the go and I have no complaints. Reasonably priced and very easy to stow due to the size. Materials seem well built and after using at a few events it is sufficient enough for any night setting or indoor event.

    Gets The Job Done

This product is okay. The pop up flash in my Canon DSLR doesn't give as much flash power as this device; but the flash only yields about a 20 - 25% increase over it. The range is good for about 15 - 20 feet maximum. I was a bit disappointed; but in its' defense, the product was easy to use. I just slid it on and adjusted the screw and it was ready to go. It does do what is advertised and performs well. If you just need a low - middle grade flash product, this is a good buy.

I bought this as a spare to my other flashes and strobes, I have found it is quite capable for its size and pretty feature rich compared to others costing a bit more. Not perfect, but certainly above the spare status for some work.

    Works with the Canon RP!

I purchased this to pair with my Canon RP. First, let me say...it works with the Canon RP. There are so many different flash models available that work for Canon, but not all of them work with the Canon RP as it has a different hot shoe when compared to your more traditional DSLR camera. It's powerful enough for what I need it for so there are no complaints from me. Excellent flash.

This is very good, nice quality flash for Canon cameras. It charge and recharge quickly, has a lot of power. First one I bought was faulty (TTL zoom feature did not work). BB replaced with good one and now I'm happy with my purchase.

Just a basic flash when you need that bit of extra light but has some drawbacks such as not being able to twist it in all directions. I’d go for the official Canon one next time.

Bought this flash to use with Canon 6D and Mark IV if I need “some” light in a pinch. Both of these cameras have great low light capabilities, but, sometimes I just want a little fill and don’t want to carry a full-size flash everywhere. This flash does the job.

I have used the flash in several situation and have not had any problems. The head tilts and swivels, there is good power control, and it has a high speed sync that allows the flash to be used with burst photography. The price was great too.
