Being disabled & bedridden much of the time, I'd been looking for something to stabilize my laptop while providing enough ventilation. The laptop "stands" with built-in fans that had to be plugged into an increasingly rare USB port always died after a while. The 1st one I bought w/fully articulating lockable legs SEEMED great at first but kept falling forwards onto me. But not this one! THIS stand has a deceptively simple (dare I say ingenious?), sturdy one-piece metal frame for support with a thin, aerated-metal top, and four rubber "feet" to hold it in place/avoid scratching any surfaces you may put it on. I have it on top of the 3"-high, SAME-width-as-the-stand box my laptop came in, & finally, I'm NOT hunching over my computer, hurting my neck, to see the screen while I type anymore! Sitting on top of the bed, the screen is just below eye-level for me (at 5'2"), where I can still read it sitting up at full height, & there's room between the box and riser for my external hard drive & other peripherals that used to keep falling off & getting sucked into the black hole UNDER the bed! (The riser's legs keep them from sliding off!) The whole setup stays perfectly balanced even when I move around/get in/out of bed despite my "front-heavy" laptop. I can watch videos at night, turn the computer off when I get tired, move the whole setup to the corner of the bed, & it's still in place when I wake up! (With help from those rubber "feet" that keep it from sliding around.) With the attractively patterned (albeit hidden) ventilatation holes in the thin-metal top, I also have YET to get a "BSOD" due to my laptop overheating while playing power-hungry games--no fan necessary! In fact, it's COOL to the touch as I type this. BEST laptop stand I've ever had! Highly recommended! Now to find the ultimate BACK support for my bed, and I'll be living the high life again! ;)

Pretty basic stand, but it's a good height and sturdy for what it's worth.

This came in handy for raising a laptop up higher for a better viewing angle. Great price too. It was the perfect height.

A nice sturdy stand for your desk. Enough space to put stuff in and under this stand. Strong enough to hold a monitor.

This puts a laptop at the right height for comfortable viewing. It also gives you space for an external keyboard when not in use. Helps keep the laptop cool.

These are always great to get your monitor up higher and clear up some of your desk space. Also, good for viewing at the correct angle so there are less visits to your chiropractor.

This riser works great for me! I sit in my recliner in my living room and put a 13" laptop on the riser on my lap or a small computer table near me. I also purchased a package of 12 clear raised rubber bumpers at Home Depot and put 4 (1 in each corner) on the bottom of the laptop. These bumpers raise up the laptop allowing better circulation, and they also prevent it from moving around or slipping off the riser.

This is a very sturdy, heavy-duty monitor for my laptop. I digital scrapbook and thanks to this product, my sore neck issues are are a thing of the past!! Nice quality, nice price and very portable.

Just enough enough height to raise the monitor to a decent eye level. Actually made extra space under monitor & the desktop.

Great buy, was perfect for working from home to get that elevated view. Worth the money. You can store items underneath as well.
