New PC's are starting to come out with DisplayPorts on them instead of the "OLD" standard DVI. Why throw that perfectly good DVI monitor out when this converter lets you use your perfectly good DVI monitor with your new PC. It's easy to use and works great!

I have a laptop with only VGA and DisplayPort video inputs, but monitors have VGA and DVI-D output. This adapter works perfectly to convert the DVI-D to DisplayPort, so that I can use both monitors together. Absolutely no issues at all with this adapter.

Being a rather technically minded person, I bought this to use with my 30" Dell LED Monitor. My monitor has only a DVI-Dual Link input, and my tower has a Display Port, hence the need for the adapter. It's pretty self explanatory, plug the DVI cable into one end, and plug the other end into the display port. Voila!. It's not displaying the resolution. I would like, but I think that is more due to the cable that I purchased, so i can't really fault this for it. I will delve more into that review on my next item.

These are active adapters. Why that is not something that is clearly stated in the product description or on the box is a mystery. I currently use two of these to run an eyefinity system on a r9 390. I have been using them for a few months and have had zero issues.

I needed this adapter for a new graphics card I installed. The GPU only had one DVI port, and I have two monitors. HDMI does not support 120mhz monitors, so I needed to buy a DisplayPort adapter. Easier than ordering online, and the cost difference was worth having it now. I can't imagine I'll ever have to replace this.

This product was exactly what I needed to get my new office computer to interact with the older equipment. It has worked great. Much less expensive than the products I saw online.

Computer had displayport but monitor had DVI. All other adapters were at least $40 but BestBuy had it on clearance for less than $10. Works well and couldn't ask for anything better. Of limited utility unless you had my specific need.

It seems that newer computers are shipping more and more with digital video ports but my older monitors only have the DVI port. This solved the problem. I purchase a couple of these and they work great.

This has worked well for a number of devices in our company. One exception is that we got a signal out of sync issue when using it with one of our ThinkCentre thin clients. Beyond that I have used a number of these and other system with no issue.

The adapter was Clearance-priced, and I just needed a couple. The adapter is built well, works well, and allows me to use a monitor with DVI port. No problems at all.

I purchased this to use an older monitor as a second screen. Works perfectly for that. Was also able to use it to run a computer to a TV that only had HDMI ports.

There is not really much to say. I needed a display port to DVI adapter for my new video card and I found these. They work great, no display issues.

Bought one in store to try to use in the office first then actually ordered more for the other workstations. Great product and price.

Took over an hour to find 5 of these in stock items in a local best buy. Best Buy has increasingly made it more and more difficult to find items, because they want to spread them around the store. This item that should have been with either computers, tablets or accessories, was thought to be in the back by 6 different employees. I finally found them on a center cart with phone chargers by the mobile phones. They weren't mistakenly there, the hang tag was correct. But for some reason these were with a technology that has never used DisplayPort and would therefore, never need a DisplayPort adapter. Really wasted my time and made me long for the old Radio Shack.

I have purchased several of these and they always perform as expected. I will continue to purchase these as needed without hesitation.

Bought this to use with a second monitor on my work computer. Works great, just wish it was a little cheaper.

We used this to set up a computer to have the screen and projector running simultaneously, and it is working great.

I needed this to connect a second monitor to my docking station, and it works perfectly. No complaints here!

I purchased this for use with my laptop and a dual monitor setup. It worked fine from the first installation and never had any trouble with it since.
