Too many computers with DP ports and not enough monitors with them.

Seemed to be a good cable but device never worked so I didn't get to really try it out.

I got the adapter to allow me to have one monitor with my email up 100% of the time and keep a second for current work activities. One of the greatest options I have ever used.

Good low cost alternative to DVI and HDMI. For mini towers, it allows you to hook up multiple monitors without looking for a add on video card

Hard to judge quality of signal on this adapter, as the monitor I am using this on is showing it's age. But it allows me to us this older monitor as a secondary display. So, adapter is useful, if not an improvement.

Bought this item to connect my PC with a display port to my monitor that has DVI. Works exactly as it should.

Worked out really well for me, I found the item under the wrong price tag and got it for a fraction of the price, but either way, the product worked well for me.
