Great as a travel dock. It is: smaller than the OEM Switch dock, and includes power AND HDMI. At a fraction of the cost, it's a no brainer.

Purchased this unit to allow for an extra dock to have connected to another television other than the one in my son's room. So far so good. The power cable and HDMI cable have worked satisfactory in the first 3 weeks of use. It is very convenient to have all of the needed items for an extra spare dock in one package. This unit was also very price competitive to separate Nintendo docks being offered by individuals on internet listings, etc.

Set it up for the first time today. It was nice that all the cords came with it and it does what i purchased it for, meaning i can charge and displace my switch on the tv... The thing I wasn’t too happy about was that for something so simple as plugging a power corner and hdmi cord in i had to second guess myself if i was doing it right. That might sound stupid but hear me out.. I connected everything up and put the switch in the dock.. The light came on (yay) but no display on my tv. Double checked to make sure I could read numbers since it was plugged into hdmi 1.. Ok. So I can read... Than even though the light was displayed I double checked the power just to make sure I wasn’t missing something.. (Again, this shouldn’t be that hard..) I even tried pressing the power buttons on the switch itself and my pro controller... and nothing, still no display. Since the light was on (showing that the switch was in the dock) I didn’t think I had to wiggle it around just to have it make an additional connection to the dock... After doing that a couple times it finally displayed. I even took the switch out again and repeated this a couple times and I don’t know if my dock is faulty or if that’s just how these are made but meh. It does the job for the money but that is why I’m only giving it 3 stars.

Portable dock that works just as good as the Nintendo branded dock but at a fraction of the cost.

This works great and is an excellent value for the money especially when compared to the cost of the OEM Nintendo dock. It's more portable too. My only complaint is that HDMI-CEC commands don't seem to work with this dock (like they do with the OEM dock) to turning on the witch will not turn on my TV and change the input to the Switch. Still, for the money you can't beat it.

This dock works just as advertised. I keep it in my travel suitcase since the size is more compact than Nintendo’s version. I mostly use the charger as the dock does not connect as easily as the Nintendo docking station. I’m scared extended use of this product will cause damage to my switch over time and repairing a switch still results in the loss of all save data which as of today still cannot be backed up. Over all, I’d buy it again if I need a second dock and power cord. Great value for your dollar.

I was weary to pick up a non Nintendo dock due to some causing “bricking” but this one has been awesome! I’ve had it for almost a year no problems with it. It’s sleeker than the Nintendo one (to me at least) and I would definitely recommend it if you’ve lost your dock or need a second one for a different room in the house. Also FANTASTIC FOR THE PRICE

This is the most cheapest and the best dock available in the market today. The dock is fully functional and great affordable solution when you need a dock for another room or travel purposes. It comes everything but the kitchen sink. The dock, usb-c power adapter and hdmi cable. It is the most affordable solution available today in the market. The Nintendo power adapter itself sells for $30. For this price, this is a steal.

Not bad at all and easier/cheaper to get than the official Nintendo dock. I bought it to use in a second room in the house which was enough for me but have also used it multiple times when traveling because it's so small and easy to pack. I high recommend as a replacement or as a second dock.

Very compact, portable dock for the Nintendo Switch. It has a solid design, and fits the switch perfectly. My 2 problems are that there is only 1 usb port (a usb hub fixes that) and that it's incredibly easy to get fingerprints all over the matte black finish. Other than that, it's a perfect, low profile Switch dock!

I've had zero issues with this dock, and I prefer it to the Nintendo one because it's so much smaller! Much easier to travel with. I love that I can have 2 TVs in my house, with the original dock at one and this dock at the other. Makes it easier in case we want to do family gaming on one TV with individual on the other!

This docking kit is easy to use. I have been able to connect the docking kit to several different TVs within the home and have taken used it while on vacation. It is very easy to use. My son is excited that he can take it anywhere and connect it to any TV! This was at a cheaper cost compared to the actual Nintendo switch docking station.

Bought this dock as a second, so I could have one in each room. Like it better than the one that came with the switch. Comes with a power supply, already a better deal than an amazon untrustworthy product. Half the price as the Nintendo brand, works just as well, and looks better. Make sure that the power supply is plugged all the way in til it clicks.

This dock is as good as the original that came with the Switch but for half price. IT DOES NOT BRICK YOUR SWITCH!!! I have this in my office on my gaming pc monitor (27", 2560x1440, 1ms, 144Hz) and it looks incredible. Now I can play on the 120" in the theater or in my office. Perfect solution for the Switch & will buy another for our living room.

I love this dock. This is my secondary dock that I use for travel or using my Switch in TV mode elsewhere at home if the main TV is in use. If nothing else, for half the price of the original you get a much smaller form factor that does not come with the risk of scratching your screen.

When I purchased my Nintendo Switch, I received this for free from BestBuy. Originally, I didn't think I would use the Insignia dock, however after I plugged the actual Nintendo dock into my TV, I discovered having an extra dock was very convenient. For example, if I wanted to play on another TV, I didn't have to unplug the Nintendo dock because I just used the Insignia dock instead. In addition, an extra dock allows you to charge your Switch in more locations without having to go through the hassle of disconnecting the Nintendo dock from your TV. You can also take the Insignia dock on vacation and if it is lost or misplaced, it isn't as expensive as the Nintendo dock. Overall, I think the Insignia dock is a great product that includes the AC charging cable, HDMI cord and dock.

Works very well and its good to travel with. Worth the money

This, in my opinion, really ended up being better than the dock that originally comes with the switch. I had to buy a new one because I left the original one somewhere else and this was a really good investment, very compact and easy to travel around with and a really nice design. Super worth it.

This is a really nice dock for the price. Ultimately, I docked one star because it's a pretty tight fit if you have a glass screen protector. For the most part, this works just as well as the Nintendo dock, and is much more portable. It takes a bit more effort to remove the console and only has one USB port, but otherwise works just as well as the original dock for less than half the price. Great dock for the money!

I received this dock free as a bundle with my Switch. It's smaller than the dock that comes with the Switch but only has 1 usb port. I've read some reviews saying that this dock has bricked some people's Switch but the couple times I've used it it's ok. I'm hoping everything continues to work properly because this is a much smaller dock to carry if I travel and want to hook my switch up to a TV.
