It heated evenly and quickly, so it does the basic job. The big con was that the well for fat drippings was a bit shallow. I accidentally dropped some drippings from thick cut bacon. Also, the cord is a bit on the short side. On the plus side, it replaced a taller griddle, which took up more space. Additionally, it was designed with a slight incline across the surface, being more efficient in draining off the excess fat than the previous griddle I had. All in all, it was a great price on sale, has a low profile and does its job.
