very hard to find corded headset w/mic for portable home phone. Our home phone (panasonic) has a receptacle for a headseat and we use a headset a LOT. Phone is about 5-6 years old and still works well. Go thru a headset about every 1-2 years. Prefer stereo (this one has only ONE speaker) so it was a change. Sound quality is ok but not as good as an old GE headset that finally gave out. Even with volume at max (on phone and headset) it is not always loud enough. previous headsets 1/2 volume was fine - yes our hearing is good! ha For the price, this does ok; found the GE stereo headset on line and just ordered 2 of those; Best buy did not stock; understandable due to few land lines and even fewer corded headseat adaptable land line phones, 4 stars because at least it was available and works. We just prefer stero, even for calls. We would recommend unless you only want stereo.

I bought three headsets before finding this one. It seemed to be the only one the store carries for use with a land line so I didn't have much choice. As it worked out, the reception at the other end of the conversation is excellent - clear, no static. I have a hearing impairment and at my end the volume is low even at the highest setting. Otherwise I'd have given this a five star rating.

The headset is very comfortable. I wish that the volume was higher on it. Sometimes I can't hear people on the phone. Other than that I really like the headset as it gives me a hands free environment which is very helpful in my work.

We have a 10 handset 4 phone line system in our office which gives us a lot of flexibility. But working and keeping any handset precariously pinned between your ear and neck is cumbersome, non-ergonomic and frequently embarrassing (when you drop someone on the floor). We tried headsets from Panasonic, Plantronics and AT&T (the phone system's manufacturer) and none have stood up to these. The goose neck microphone is sturdy and the sound is clear. My (minor) complaint would be that a longer cord would be better - but it hasn't stopped us from getting one for each handset.

High quality for a low price plus outstanding voice quality for both incoming and outgoing calls make this headset a winner!! Very comfortable on the head and the padded earphone is ample and soft to the ear. The mouthpiece is also padded with the neck being flexible enough to move to any angle for voice quality (no annoying breath sounds) and comfort. The cord is nice and long and does not get in the way of working on the computer or doing paperwork. Great price, great product, fast and secure shipping!

As a business writer, I spend a lot of time on the phone. My old headset was starting to give out, so when I saw this headset on sale, I decided to give it a try. From my perspective, the audio quality is decent - though it doesn't seem like I can get quite the volume that I could from my old headset. The only other downsides are that the cord is quite long and the smallest that I can make the headset is still a bit big for my head. But, given that I paid something like $13 for the headset, I'll live with these flaws.

Very simple to use, lightweight and comfortable for use with landline. Allows me to walk around without holding the handset. Good value.

Using this headset makes life easier for those long phone calls and you want to still get things done. The cord can be a bit cumbersome but otherwise it has a fairly good volume and saves battery time while using instead of using speaker, which has never been clear sounding to me. If you like to work with your hands while talking on your landline this is a helpful tool.

Very light weight and comfortable even if worn for hours.

This is a solid but not spectacular headphone for a cordless phone It has a nice length and a couple of nice features with a flexible boom microphone and convenient mute switch. However, it has been a bit glitchy with it cutting out sometimes and having to readjust the plug in to hear or have voice.

This head set works well with my cord free phone, allowing me to attend to tasks while talking with family or friends. The only drawback is a small loss of volume which is not handled by the small slider button provided with the set. Otherwise, love the freedom!

This was a Christmas gift for my mother. She was complaining about her friends calling and talking for a very long time, so we got her this so she can go hands free on her long phone calls. She said it works very well.

I was nervous about buying this headset because it was the least expensive of the other headsets and I needed a good quality one for my work-from-home job. The first week of work (during an over-the-phone meeting with my boss) she asked where I got my headset from. I said Best Buy, but asked why (afraid she was going to say it was poor hearing me). Just the opposite! She said it's the clearest she's ever heard when speaking over the phone and said she's writing down this headset as her recommendation for future employees.

i need to have a corded headset so this one was cheap and it works as it supposed to . i has an extra long leash which i like but i can see how it might be obnoxious to others

These headphones are of solid construction & volume control works well. Gave them 4 stars because the headset doesn't fit a small woman's head snugly.

Very good head set and I would have given it 5 stars but the cord is VERY long and gets tangled easily. Other than that is it good buy.
