This was our first time having to change out the filter in our Samsung fridge. I initially was going to purchase the Samsung replacement filter but the price wasn’t appealing to say the least. So I searched multiple other brands & came across the Insignia replacement filter. I read all of the reviews & talked it over with my husband. We decided to order it & I’m so glad we did. Not only did we save money but it fit perfectly fine & the water tastes the same if not better than before. And we have an extra one to replace this one in 6months. My only recommendation is to make sure it fits your Samsung model fridge & turn off the water supply to the fridge before installing the new filter to prevent possible water damage. Filters fit my Samsung RS27T5561SG/AA fridge perfectly and are exactly the same size as the Samsung filter which came with my fridge originally. Function well without any issues. I would recommend to everyone to purchase these over the name brand filters since I see no difference between the 2.

I was worried about purchasing an off brand for my water filter in my Samsung fridge. I researched and came across these for the price I was willing to try since the filter is expensive just for one. For this price there is two! What a deal since they work great. Installing was a breeze and water is great again. Would recommend definitely.

Just as expected. Excellent filter for Factory replacement. Fit just as good as the Samsung filter for a fraction of the price.

I always like to buy OEM when replacing things around the house. However I found that these Insignia filters do the exact same thing as the OEM filters and at a better price.

I have a Samsung refrigerator model RF23M8070SR and the filter is perfect saved me quite a bit of money especially since now I can buy 2 for less than 1 of the Samsung brand filters the water is just as expected been using the filter for a month now and clean clear water no taste just what water should be

Fits like the original. No leakage after install. Appreciate it is NFS tested. Not all filters are so. Very few particles when doing first flush. Good sign of production control.

It is simple and easy to install. Just have to remember to shut the wster off before you take the old one out. And yes i speak from experience.....lol

I used this water filter instead of the one Samsung recommends. Didn't notice any difference in taste and would recommend instead of paying more for the one Samsung recommends.
