Very compact radio. Great price for a small and portable radio.

The design of the radio is great. It is sleek and I'm able to tuck it in my pocket without affecting any buttons. The lock feature works well and is large enough to lock any functions in place. My disappointment is signal strength when indoors. There are spots that reception is lost and gained when I position myself. Outdoors the reception is great. I only tune two stations and losing reception can really affect my listening. This radio uses two AAA batteries. My previous brand only used one. This is a power hog and I go through some batteries in a short period of time. My prior brand gave an indication that the battery was depleted. This model goes static and the display goes blank. I thought it was a reception problem, but not the case Would be a great radio if not for those faults.

I like the cost, size and sound of this radio. AM and FM reception are very good for its size. I use the radio several hours a day while walking my dog. I do suggest you get the extended service guarantee since I had to have it replaced a few times but it may be due to lots of use. Best Buy has replaced it with a smile.

My old Sony am fm Walkman broke. Wish it was still made, it fit great in a jacket pocket for walks. This is a little larger but still fits in a pocket, I don't use the arm band or headphones that came with it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the volume even at it's lowest is still too high for me. It was easy to use and set stations.

Generally good, but not great reception, . . . but what do you expect for under $20? Still, it has better reception than other low priced similar sized AM/FM radios I have owned. Also the digital controls and memory for favorite stations and the digital clock are attractive pluses in such an inexpensive radio.

Portable radios like this are getting hard to find, a friend wanted something exactly like this. Can't beat the price, works great, and he hasn't been able to break it yet!

For the price this is a great little radio. I bought it for my husband as he likes to listen to AM talk radio on our morning. He has only been using for about a month and said both the AM and FM stations come in great and sound is also great.

Perfect for the football game. Easy to program stations. Clear reception and arm band makes very convenient.

Loved it. Could read the digital read out well. I moved about very freely when placed in big pant pocket or coat pocket. Would be better wireless because I kept getting the headphone wires stuck on something. Sound O.K. for Talk radio; not really Hi-Fidelity.

Easy to use, wanted it to listen to AM radio and some FM radio when outside doing tasks or at a ballgame to listen to radio broadcast. Cheap plastic and could have a better switch to turn/lock on/off.

i've used the insignia radio a few times. it provides a decent performance for a modest price. it is easy to program and pulls in most local stations.

Good little radio to listen music in AM and FM stations and have a good sound, it comes with earphones and easy to carry for any activities and finally good price, good buy.

I was looking to replace my older SONY portable digital AM/FM radio. It seems that my choices are now limited. I spotted this Insignia digital AM/FM and purchased it. It is a good portable radio that I basically use to do outdoor work such as lawn cutting, raking and snow shoveling. Not bad for the price.

Good reception to both AM/FM radio, the sound quality is good for a portable radio. It is loud enough to listen to the radio while mowing the grass.

This is light weight, easy to use and has good sound quality. Use it on neighborhood walks.

The armband radio is light and captures stations decent. The headband that comes with it is small and does not have very good sound. Have tons of earbuds that are being used with it. There is a slight hiss to all tuned stations, not super bad bud there nonetheless.

These little radios are increasingly hard to find. This one has decent sound quality, esp if you upgrade to your own earbuds, but it goes through batteries like crazy. I listen at night before bed and have to change batteries every few days.
